Personal management issue....pure & simple. I'm always at 500K just playing normally. No telling how high it woud be with no cap..... I'd probably have 1M in cap. Poor management is the only explanation for these alleged wildly differing experiences. Truth is, it doesn't matter if Bungie adjusts the economy you'll still complain. May as well Leave it as is.

  • I actually don't understand why there is a cap on any of the forms of currency. But then again I am one of those people who managed to get $1bn in San Andreas through gambling so limits may be good for my digital hoarding tendencies.

  • Just because you don't experience it doesn't mean others don't. Lol. What's the point of being offensive towards an idea that is only of benefit to everyone? XD. Blows my mind. If you were crafting lots of items, leveling things to 11 and 17 via the enhancement menu, focusing items, while also frequently masterworking armor to try new builds, and didn't have years worth of transferable resources you'd be in the same boat. Not even asking for a glimmer cap increase, I'm asking for Bungie to return being able to get backup glimmer without leaving the area you're currently at. The current three resources that can be exchanged at Rahool do not drop frequently enough, nor are they a drop from ALL activities and areas. Xur only allows you to focus glimmer twice within a 4 day period. Adding raimaker as a frequent drop alongside enhancement cores would be a simple fix.

  • If I can save, anyone can. I never put much effort at all into it for all these years until about the last 3 months of the 6 month season immediately prior to TFS. What I did put away.... I didn't even use all of it....and my spending looked about like what you described. Raid Adepts Enhanced, MW exotics, Enhance old favorites, buy new exotics. What I wound up not using but maybe half of what I had - Cores that came via Shard exchange. And I'm still not using them fast enough I'm up to almost 3,000 again. They basically rain when you're dismantling engrams and / or weapons (e.g. Crucible where there's not much to chase and the count is always at 99). Rainmaker (Glimmer Shard) is available now via Evervrse for just 250BD. I've mentioned this in help threads. Couple it with farming at Sorrows Harbor for phantasmal + your ghost mod = doubling down efforts. Phantasmal drops all day long at Sorrows and its a great glimmer source. Of course your Glimmer Shard is good for 4 hours, follows you anywhere. Even Ascendat Shard and Ascendant Alloy ate all over the place these days. If anything is harder to come I'd say - Ciphers. But even they are farmable. All I'm suggesting is - go for materials stash with some intent and its within everyone's grasp vs asking for help in the economy ....which seems to be the first thought for a lot of players.

  • I'm still standing on rainmakers needing to be reintroduced. But I'll start going to the Moon more often and collecting Phantasmal fragments.
