Unfixable error code weasel

I’ve been getting error code weasel on my Xbox for the past 5 days. I’m usually unable to get past the title screen before getting the error message but sometimes I can get to the class select screen before being kicked. I’ve switched to a wired connection and get ~300-400 mbs. I’ve power cycled my Xbox a couple times as well as deleted and reinstalled the game. I’ve tried different accounts but they all have similar results. Reloading WiFi connections doesn’t work. There aren’t any other devices besides phone on my WiFi. I did just switch addresses and my Xbox was unplugged for two weeks but streaming services and some other games work fine. Any thoughts?

  • i had something similar when TFS released. i couldnt login, if I managed to get to character selection or in the game I was 0 light and not even my ship was loading in orbit. I had to reinstall battleeye as the integrity of my files was gone xbox might work different but my first idea would be to completely reinstall destiny 2 on your console you could also activate crossplay and check if you can login on the steam version. this way you can narrow down the error source. if you can login on steam its most likely your xbox. if not it might be your internet connection settings.

  • I’ve been dealing with this for the past 7 days. It’s 100% on their end they just don’t care. Never had a problem in two years. Look at the influx of error code threads the past week. Nothing about it in the last twab.
