You heard the swam and still engaged? Aimed to the left then corrected but left a window for him to dip. Nothing about that was OP. How about pocket or snapping into engagements. That’s fking OP. How about dipping in and out of a healing rift around a corner or dashing everywhere or snap skating or oh fking lighting surgex3 or triple freeze or enhanced BLINK or turrets up the -blam!- or hellio. I could go on for dayzzzzzz. Dude get real. Little stationary clones the problem right. WTF is wrong with you people.

But he wants to complain about a f-ing clone that cant do anything to him unless he himself shoots and destroys it. Not to mention an easy counter to that, is to simply hip fire....
-
Oh snap! For how op warlocks and Titans prismatic is this dude isn’t running it on either! But wait what’s that!? He’s running shroud and threaded specter on his prismatic hunter!? No way! 😂 you call others out for being crazy, but are running that build and talking about how op the others are is hilarious. Truly a tool
-
New subclasses are supposed to be the best. What would be the point if they weren’t. Hunter is easy to counter if players use abilities that acutely counter. I’ve faced a ton of players that actually use the right builds and I get wrecked.
-
Edited by PHOENIXUFC: 7/13/2024 7:22:15 PMIf you get wrecked by other build why don’t you use those instead? You can’t say because you are trying to be original because what you using is the most used build being used 😉 that how I call bs lol you don’t get beat by build you get beat by better players. Builds only matter if you are plying people of the same caliber. 🎤 drop
-
No it’s not the most used. Stasis and grapple are not the meta. I run the new class because hunters have jackshit dude. At least I have something until players that don’t want a challenge get there way and it’s destroyed. Then I’ll hope over to lock. It is the way
-
See I’m okay if someone has a build and I’m unlucky to face fully charged up abilities when I’m all used up.m. That’s destiny. That’s my fault for getting to a point where i have no exit strat. It happens all the time. I’m not the best every match but I do try to read what’s going on and I flip weapons and or abilities to match. That’s the game. Now the bullshit lag Bungie forces us into is the true enemy in the crucible.
-
Dude I’m running grapple and stasis. No not the most common
-
There is literally zero counter to the prismatic hunter set up, your only hope is that you are at long range or they don’t have their abilities charged. And the range of an engagement in some situations is hardly in your control. Which brings up another point. Hunters can just shotgun ape you and still dodge to kill or weaken you like crazy, it’s truely a lose lose for the victim.
-
Okay, blink or dash or freeze or pocket. Dude I can go on and on.
-
Edited by huntingomer: 7/13/2024 6:19:56 AMI agree you know as soon as you damage a hunter a little, he is dodging. Just stop shooting readjust and pop pop bam
-
Exactly just like a lock that dash to safety and throws a rift. At least hunters have a huge cool down
-
There is absolutely no way you said hunters have a huge cooldown, especially with inmost light exotic class items too 💀🤣 you really don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve already disproved almost everything you had to say, let it rest, warlocks are the easiest class to outplay, none of their abilities prevent you from hitting your shots.
-
I agree you know as soon as you damage a hunter a little, he is dodging.
You expect them to just sit there and let you kill them? The fork is going on in your head?? Absolute clown logic.
-
You seem to not understand the point of a dodge, you’ve been replying to a couple people with a whole lot of nothing. You clearly need hunters to be this overpowered for you to be able to play consistently. A dodge is supposed to get you out of harms way, in what world is it ok for the same dodge to also deal unavoidable damage to an enemy?
-
Exactly it’s almost like a rift that freezes and heals right.
-
With a wider radius, doesn’t lock you in place and has zero cast time, giving you access to your weapons immediately as well as an insanely fast cool down in comparison and a whole arsenal to go along with it whereas a freeze rift forces you to run stasis 💀 comparing the two just put it into perspective how insane the prismatic hunter loadout is.
-
Freeze rift and you need weapons lol. 1 melee. 1
-
Let me just say if the hunter had the triple freeze this place would be a hell storm. Dude it’s a clone. A stationary weak AF clone. Hey don’t touch the clone. Wow crazy. See one 3 tap it from cover. Crazy.
-
Triple freeze then. Are you for real dude
-
Wow, cry more, please. You seem to think Hunters are the only one with a so called defensive ability that can also do damage or act in more than one way. Can I introduce you to Titans that can place a barrier and shoot out a wave of fire that can almost kill you? Can I introduce you to a Warlock that can place a rift that can freeze you in place so you're absolutely forked. Please cry more about a game you obviously know nothing about.

Well judging by the fact that the swarm nade was virtually nowhere near my slide path and yet still partially tracked is the reason they need a detection range nerf, if it was a solar grenade thrown in the exact same location I wouldn’t have even been tagged, (not that it would’ve mattered, the instant strand clone crutch would’ve killed me or gotten me extremely low anyways) on top of the fact that that strand clone also takes control of my aim assist cone making looking at and hitting the actual enemy 10X harder (which is why my melee went to the clone instead). and it’s funny you say I left a window, he had half a second to press one button which let him dodge and guarantee himself a kill, no aiming involved, in what world is a dodge away from the enemy a form of dealing damage? on top of that almost everything you listed as being “broken” has never and will never be that big of an issue, almost none of those things prevent you from hitting your shots, whereas a clone does (blocks shots and manipulates aim assist), a smoke does however not as much as it obstructs your vision AND slows you, which may I add hunters can just throw in an instant. If you are in snap melee or pocket distance, 1.get your damn shotgun out and their melee means nothing 2. If you don’t have a close range weapon at hand what are you doing engaging them within melee range (keep in mind snap melee and pocket ranges aren’t even that ridiculous). Also, you can EASILY out damage the healing of a rift, done it before, never had an issue, just hit your headshots or just don’t engage the rift (funny how a rift doesn’t ping your radar letting you know if the person is hugging that rift or not on top of its pretty large radius which is very easy to pick up on around corners). If you get outgunned by Dashing and snap skating warlocks then sorry to say but you may need to re-evaluate your aim, no part of dashing or skating provides the enemy with a clear advantage in a gunfight, hit your shots more than them and you’ll win, that is just a demonstration of a skill gap (you going to ingnore ensnaring slam? Shatterdive? Some pretty nutty movement in PvP with those but they’re pretty balanced) as for lightning surge, I agree it could use tuning down but I haven’t been killed by 1.nearly as many lightning surges compared to panic popping hunter clones spamming abilities and 2. Lightning surge does not 1 shot you (like a certain strand grapple melee build on hunter) and therefore leaves them open to a shotgun blast. Blink is not hard at all to deal with, the trajectory is very predictable and again, they are not bullet proof. Turrets and hellio are also not hard at all to counter, just shoot a turret (speaker helm is getting a well deserved nerf at some point but still hasn’t posed as great of an issue in PvP from personal experience, I may also add I have never bothered using speaker helm because I try not to rely on broken abilities) and as for hellio the tracking is so useless in most fights that the decent damage it does is practically USELESS in PvP. The only and I mean ONLY thing I agree with is the stasis freezing, however every class now with the exception of hunters have this readily available in PvP. Now I’m going to reiterate, and try to show you how literally zero of those options prevent you from hitting your shots, compared to a literal instant spawning, aim assist snatching, bullet sponge that appears right in your face when you even attempt to push a hunter as all they have to do is push one button and boom, you’re dead or close to it, maybe chuck a little smoke and or swarm nade in there too, to guarantee that the enemy is literally helpless and has zero chance of survival no matter the skill level. Running into a pre-placed clone is just terrible on the victim’s part and that is fine, however in no way is it ok for a clone to be used this heavily on the attack, please what kind of “decoy” is that 💀
-
All bullshit my friend. Try aiming when you are getting turret fire or hit with pocket or a million other bullshit abilities the lock has that fire for them. Can’t fire while you’re frozen solid can you. Instant win every time and you don’t even have to be right on top of them. This is batshit crazy. You heard the nade. You had no idea where it was yet still went for the easy slide shotty fire in your face melee. You got outplayed because you tried to go for the easy win. I would take that video down because all it shows is how you charged when you should have clearly waited and repositioned. Little stationary clone that does jackshit for damage (already nerf to the ground) and barley pulls aim has nothing on the bulllshit arsenal of cheese abilities the lock wields for easy wins.
-
Claiming it’s all bs without saying anything to back it up is not a valid argument, absolutely nothing a warlock has other than restoration 2x and lighting surge is “overpowered” at the moment. I’m not including stasis as a hard warlock ability as idk if you know this, titans have diamond lance as well as the fact that, coldsnap grenades are available to all classes, and can also easily be dodged by just jumping 💀. Other than that, I stand by the fact that challenging a rift is 1. Not that hard as the regen is pretty poor and u can still one shot with a fusion or shotgun, and that’s if you even decide to challenge a rift, that disappears after a few seconds and get this, doesn’t deal damage. 2.strand clones do not do awful damage at all, a blast from a decent distance away is enough to put you into red, if not single melee health especially if the hunter is running winter’s shroud to really keep u face to face with that clone. Throw a smoke or swarm in there and it’s literally a free kill. 3. You clearly seem to have a problem with ranged melee abilities that fyi are one ability compared to hunters spamming 3 at once, have pretty mediocre regen, have poor tracking close range from experience (celestial fire) and other than a few scorch tags at range (where u shouldn’t even be challenging from that far if you are burning or weak) doesn’t provide any real threat. As for the snap melee, be for real, it does the same amount of initial damage as a normal melee, with some extra range, it still has to be followed up with a shot or another melee, plenty of time to counter. It’s not a peregrine titan shoulder charge, better yet, another hunter comparison that is a little crazy at times, it’s not a head seeking throwing knife that can one shot if placed correctly, or do (wait for it) just as much damage as a snap melee but with even more range when landing a body shot😱. Yet those are still balanced imo. 4. Again, turrets, specifically offensive ones like hellion, arc buddy you name it, are so easy to avoid it’s laughable, shoot a stasis turret, or in the case of any buddies, just kill the warlock, they do not have good enough tracking or damage to outclass you if you hit your shots, and primary flinch is not that hard to combat, I think everyone has been hit by a turret at least once. It’s definitely your aim. The impression I really got from your reply was that you seem distressed about the level of complaints towards a class and subclass combo that you probably rely on a little bit too much and that clearly needs tweaking.
-
Listen throw everything you got on a warlock offensive build and you get the kill too. You also have the ability to split into an offense/defense build and still get the kill and healing. Little weak nerfed station clone is not the issue. Stop pretending like the warlock doesn’t have the best abilities in the game.
-
Warlock really doesn’t 🤣🤣 it’s hilarious to even think that, like I said turrets are laughably easy to avoid, we have healing rift and restoration grenades X2 (restoration grenades are available to all classes). And we have ranged melee abilities that are on par if not slightly worse that what hunters have available. What part of that gives off “broken abilities” most things warlocks excel in, the other classes can do too.
