Sorry to hear that, my condolences.
My Mom helped me with my very first D2 Raid, I can’t imagine the feeling of losing her. I hope you’re doing alright, and if you need somebody to talk to my messages are open!
Also, great exotic idea!

That's a cool story, my mom thinks video games are stupid and my dad only ever played Tetris. 😂

My father thinks video games are stupid also, but honestly I mainly play as an escape from reality. I’ve met some amazing people playing video games, and I’ve gone through some ruff times playing them also. What other games do you like?

Hmmm, after 35-ish years of gaming I'm not sure where to begin. Primarily 3rd-person games I guess, the most recent being Horizon: Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok. It tends to vary depending on what I'm in the mood for though. I have quite a backlog of games sitting in my library I intend to get into once this iteration of Destiny comes to a close at the end of Heresy. How about you?

Edited by Snizzy2xtra: 7/13/2024 8:01:20 AMWow 35 years is a long time, do you still remember what games were like when you first started out playing? Then seeing what games have evolved into now? I’m a huge Saints Row and Deus Ex fan! I used to play COD Zombies with my brother when I was very little, then once I got my first console those were the games I played and I loved them! Honestly was disappointed in the new Saints Row, but now I mainly just play Destiny when I have the time. I loved the new God of a War, I’ve never played Horizon though. Would you recommend it? I’ve heard it’s really amazing, I’ve seen some videos on it and it’s absolutely gorgeous!

Oh yeah, I definitely remember how games have evolved over the decades. There are even specific series that really stand out to me with how those changes happened. One that comes to mind is 'Metroid.' It started out as a side-scrolling exploration game that changed into a first-person adventure game when 'Metroid: Prime' was released on the Nintendo Gamecube. I haven't played any of the 'Saint's Row' or 'CoD' series, so I don't really have much feedback for those. As for 'Horizon,' I think they're fantastic games and can't recommend them enough. I'm genuinely excited (and quite impatient) to find out what's in the works for the third entry to the series; I won't to say more about them because I've never liked spoilers and wouldn't subject others to them, so I don't want to ruin any of the plot for you.

Saints Row is a very fun game! The series got wacky at the end but the first few made are amazing! I’ll give Horizon a try when I have the time, I’m mostly focused on my job and getting back into school. I’m trying to find a way to balance everything while still making time doing what I love and that’s gaming. Yeah though, it’s honestly crazy how games have evolved in such a short period of time. I bet it’s even more crazy if you’ve lived through it all!
