Why is it that Bungie recognizes every type of awareness month or celebration month, but has no recognition for Men's mental health month in June? No pin, no emblem, not even a mention of it. It's sad that men are the leading percentages of suicide in America and it gets ignored like it does. Now granted Bungie is not the only company that does not acknowledge Men's mental health, but you would think as woke as the company presents itself, this would be one to recognize. Thoughts or feedback much appreciated.
What are you doing to help with Men's Mental Health Awareness?

As a Guy, absolutely Nothing. 🫡

I donate to charities when available.... but I do not have the platform like bungie does.

Face it Foundation is another.

I have a serious question, Bungie supports mental health year round, and it isn't just mental health for women or trans people, but for all people. Does that unilateral support of mental health not also include men, and if so is that not also supporting men's mental health?
-
And that is fantastic. Bungie does a great job with their support for all these awareness months and pride months, but don't some of those individuals fall into more than one group? So why not support awareness for Men's Mental Health Month? Doesn't each one of these awareness months they do bring focus to contain Men? So whats the harm of just throwing in a donation option for a Men's mental health charity

I mean… that’s sort of like comparing “All Lives Matter” to BLM. It’s not a 1 to 1 though. It’s also two different situations, as 1 was a response to the other, and the Mental Health thing is purely because Bungie didn’t consider it.

Edited by GRIZZLY REVENGE: 7/11/2024 9:50:29 PMSo are you saying that an asain man who identifies as not straight can only be recognized in a Asian pride month celebration and not lgbqt+ pride month?
-
That’s not what I said. What I mean is that as much as there was a Cause behind BLM there to is a cause behind Men’s Mental Health Month and anything associated with it. As such, it’s disingenuous to say, “well, they support all mental health. That includes men.” Why is Men’s Mental Health specified. Why is there a problem to warrant such a cause. The idea is to address a root problem that is harming a specific group. Like BLM. Like Feminism. Like Men’s Mental Health.

Agreed.....that's the point I'm trying to make. The reason Men's Mental Health Month should be recognized is because the fact of suicides in America are majority male.

It's called Find your anchor. It's a great charity that promotes Men's mental health.
