Would it be looked upon the same if they were to just mention hate and racism against other cultures and genders and identities are bad, but not push charities for their cause?
There is no cause.
If you are referring to the centuries of suppression, discrimination, and abuse towards people for numerous reasons…
Then those charities are carry weight more for some over the “me too” white man trying to prove a point.
Ignoring the past tends to repeat itself.
Silence gives consent.
A lot of those charities are for people who, due to racism, hate, discrimination, abuse etc etc suffer financially due to all the above and not living a comfortable life.
Being it has been a multitude of decades this has gone on, it is hard to ignore for some.
But, at the end of the day…
All of it is for tax breaks more than anything else…
People just lean into the charities that matter to an over whelming number in their company.

Irony much?
"Silence gives consent"
Agreed, so I guess men with mental health issues (of all races and orientation) are suppose to keep feeling like they have no one not even a Month of awareness?
They feel like that regardless…
That is why they suffer.
What you are confusing is the fact that it is not a thing commercially for a specific business that in fact does support mental health awareness commercially and through charities.
Mental health awareness exists.
And it is not prejudice.
Mental health issues see no color, religion, -blam!-, or -blam!- preference.
It does not need to be focused on “men”.
It needs and is a thing for everyone.
If that were the case, for everyone to support everyone and not be centered around a race or orientation than their would be no reason for any awareness or pride months, but they are.
