Why is it that Bungie recognizes every type of awareness month or celebration month, but has no recognition for Men's mental health month in June? No pin, no emblem, not even a mention of it. It's sad that men are the leading percentages of suicide in America and it gets ignored like it does. Now granted Bungie is not the only company that does not acknowledge Men's mental health, but you would think as woke as the company presents itself, this would be one to recognize. Thoughts or feedback much appreciated.

5 RepliesWe live in a world where a man who pretends to be a woman is more of a woman than someone born a woman

3 RepliesHmmm very good question ….why was men’s mental health month swapped out for pride month. Male suicide is on the increase with young and old . Bungie is a pure puppet .

2 RepliesThe first thing you could do to improve your mental health is to immediately drop the word 'woke' from your vocabulary. Calling everything woke is just a way for certain people to invoke rage in people to get them to vote. For example, to show how the label works against you, acknowledging that men can have mental health issues that need to be taken seriously and addressed could get you called woke. Aren't 'real' men supposed to 'man up' and be impervious to touchy-feely things like worrying about mental health? That's the traditional view that obviously doesn't help men cope with life's challenges all that well. What is labeled as 'woke' is often just commonsense stuff to enable people of different mental and physical abilities or those facing barriers in life due to poverty, social status, etc., to have better opportunities to live fuller and healthier lives. Definitely, men's mental health is one that shouldn't be dismissed because many men do struggle but are taught not to reach out for help. The only debate about 'woke' should be whether the initiatives to change the way our society works are effective or not, and if not, then how can they be fixed so that they achieves the desired goals without inflicting distress on others. Obviously, this topic is a debate that is way beyond the scope of the game and these message boards, but I think you made a good point. Bungie could include some acknowledgment of the specific issues of different groups of people who play this game, even if it is as simple as providing links or knowledge of resources for dealing with the problems they face. This is not some side issue, to be sure. This game is supposed to be multi-player, a social environment, so discovering ways for people from all over the globe to learn to cooperate and be welcomed into the same space is vital to the game's long-term health. Anyway, that's my take on it. Take care.

6 RepliesYou see, the woke agenda hates men (mostly straight cis white men) and as such a woke company cannot promote them otherwise theyll lose 0.001% of the playerbase and have people online get angry (even though they dont play the game).

How about you raise awareness for the issues you care about & stop whining about what other people raise awareness about?
-
1 ReplyBecause Men's mental health month was replaced with Pride month. Makes us men feel great huh?
-
4 RepliesWho cares lol, where’s a new Khepris Hornament?
-
You know they don’t care. If it’s not something huge they can make money off of they won’t do it lol.
-
10 RepliesThey support all mental health and they do so during the entire year. Bungie does more than the average gaming developer when it comes to charity.
-
4 RepliesGod I wish bungie would abandon charity and just be an actual gaming company
-
5 RepliesThis lame argument has been done before.
-
13 RepliesIf you want to promote awareness for men's mental health, make a donation on your own; don't wait on Bungie to do something about it.

6 RepliesEdited by Major-Payne: 7/11/2024 9:42:22 PMYeah, I’m okay. If it makes you feel better, Happy Men’s Mental Health Month. (Belated) There you go little guy. I hope you feel better now and included. You’re definitely overcompensating with that name btw!

Men are not woke enough -
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to virtue signal when supporting something like men’s mental health. It’s easy to tell who actually cares about these awareness months/days when they don’t cherry pick them. Which is a remarkably small amount of people.

6 RepliesThey promote mental health awareness all the time.
-
Yeah actually it’s pitiful how they missed this

3 RepliesIf you’ve followed Bungie at all over the years, you would know that supporting Men’s Mental Health is not culturally appropriate for the company.
