We need to stop with the narrative that first descendant is some destiny killer or is even remotely comparable in any way at all.
The game is a laggy mess with horrific frame rate issues, gameplay is bare bones and gets boring in 10 minutes, I felt like I was playing a generic game from 3 generations ago.
Feels like a mobile game that was badly ported to console.
I have my issues with destiny and Bungie but I will at least give Bungie that destiny 2 is vastly better than the first descendant in practically every area that exists.
I put a few hours into it and I could not stomach another minute of how boring it is and just completely deleted it. If the game is around in a year or 2, has had some polish and some actual content added to it, I might consider downloading it again IF there's absolutely nothing else to play.

Funny enough on the mobile game part. This company makes games designed as mobile games but for pc/console

It does matter though. If the game isn't good(which it really isn't right now) Nexon will need to bend over backwards to fix issues. Bungie has other areas they will cave on when that time comes, but server maintenance will never be rewarded unless it's egregious. And yes, Bungie has compensated past issues with ascendant shards or bright dust or emblems or in the case of D1 a guaranteed 320 ghost.

He's literally comparing that game to this one, not sure how that went over your head.

"He" is me and I am telling you that I am not comparing the quality of the games but the treatment of the players as customers instead.

Edited by R-E-D-C-E-L-L: 7/5/2024 1:15:31 PMWhich is still a comparison between 2 different games. That's not something you can debate your way out of having done. Also this is the last game you should be comparing treatment of players with because they're selling $100 skins, literally zero respect for people at all in that game whatsoever with such insanely greedy people running that game.

Well, as of the moment, you don't have to pay for anything really to enjoy the game. Is it grindy? Yes. Do you need to buy things to play the game fully? No.
