A new ip that is built on the sucess of others, has to do something generous to get there name out there But let's see if you can trade currency in-game like Warframe , and have an-game path and a direct money path like Warframe With premium descendents out of the gate, and $100 skins, it's going to be a rude awakening when the new game blinders are off I have Warframe at home , that's been out longer than Destiny , that brought the looter shooter genre to life , and has so much content now, even I feel overwhelmed, and even has coupons, like 75% off any non tennogen(because that money goes to the community member that designed them)item in the store, and don't even need PS Plus to play, and don't have to spend a real dime if you dont want to , although I do just to support the people at DE for providing so much and asking for so little First Descendents, don't waste your time

I've got about 20 hours in TFD so far and so far it works just like Warframe in that everything in the game can be earned/crafted(at least the stuff you would want to play it like the Ultimate Descendants, weapons, etc.), and there are ways to farm up the crafting mats. I don't know if the cosmetics are earnable in game(the battlepass does drop weapon skins, but I didn't get it because half the stuff on it seems like garbage emotes and other things), but I personally don't care about that since I'm enjoying the game play and it's a break from D2. I largely agree though, as someone that no lifed Warframe for several years, it's like "We have Warframe at home."

Warframe is like "you constantly bump into things and get stuck due to high speeds", especially with Arch Wings....

  • I believe you can't and if you can it'd be nearly impossible to "earn" the cosmetics. For 1 I believe they only take paid currency and 2. They cost a fortune like we all joke how to buy the ornament set for each class in D2 is = to 1 last gen game but in this case just 1 cosmetic is the same price as those 3 ornament sets. If there is some way to earn them it'd probably take months of farming.

  • Yeah, at least in Warframe there were plenty of ways to earn cosmetic pieces without spending. Baro Kiteer(think that's the Xur like vendor, it's been years since I've played) sometimes had cosmetics in his inventory and there were special events you could play to get other cosmetic armor pieces. I haven't got that far into TFD yet to find out, but so far I've been able to craft a couple ultimate weapons and I'm enjoying the game for what it is w/o spending any money on it.
