So you say if your Flight at an Airport gets delayed because of screw ups from the company or additional emergency maintenance that wasn't mentioned beforehand, you shouldn't be able to refund your flight ticket or get one for a different flight? Or how about if your train is late or even gets canceled, you shouldn't get refunds or a free ticket for a different train to your already paid destination? You do realize how idiotic your mindset is? People use a product, the developer of said product makes the experience (un)intentionally worse by their actions, People are upset, developer gives compensation... That's the -blam!- base principle of transactions for products. Even my fukn local bakery where I work at DOES THIS.

“So you say if your Flight at an Airport gets delayed because of screw ups from the company or additional emergency maintenance that wasn't mentioned beforehand, you shouldn't be able to refund your flight ticket or get one for a different flight?” The fact you even think this is comparable to just not being able to play a game for few hours then getting all your access back is laughable One is a major inconvenience the other is not playing d2 for a few hours “You do realize how idiotic your mindset is?” Irony be burning hotter than irons right now

Where I am if flights are canceled/delayed cause of maintenance, they are not required to give refunds.

You're the kind of person that would demand a discount on Internet/TV service if there is bad weather.
-
I've gotten 7 discounts so far due to outages, because companies understand paying customers actually WANT THE PRODUCT THEYRE PAYING FOR, and dont want to pay for something they cant access. Out of those 7, 5 resulted in not having an internet bill.

And you're the kind of person that would see every human customer as a simple number on a spreadsheet instead of a person with rights. Just saying. If I am a "Karen" to you, you are "Diabolo Incarnated" to me. Gladly other companies actually know what "good customer treatment" is.

Have you actually read the TOS you agreed to to play the game?

There is a difference between a video game and an airplane. A maintenance issue with an airplane has actual repercussions. A video game offline does not.
-
You are really so naive to think game companies don't have repercussions for their tech, huh?
-
Zero of those repercussions affect me IRL.
