Let me start this off with the crashing only occurs with destiny 2.
After into the light (within the last 3 months) I started experiencing a bit more game crashes then I used to. Within a week or two after that it turned into completely crashing my pc rather than just the game. It has now turned into a complete gamble of being lucky to get like 2 hours of playtime without it crashing in either way.
When it crashes it is sometimes just the game and other times the screen simply cuts to black and reboots my pc. The few times it did bluescreen my pc was a BEDaisy.sys message. Some of the posts seemed to think it was a battleye issue.
I have updated my bios and of my drivers. Reinstalling windows did nothing. I have tried running with the bare minimum of hardware connected. I have messed with countless pc settings and file settings that are brought up in other forum posts to no avail. No amount of uninstalling or reinstalling the game or battleye changed anything.
Seeing the number of dead threads without resolution doesn't leave me with much hope and at this point I've more or less given up after 2 months of trying to resolve this.
With the number for forum posts I've seen scattered around the web I just wish an actual acknowledgment of it was made if this truly is an issue plaguing destiny players beyond one paragraph on the battleye faq.

1 ReplyHi there, Thanks for reaching out! BEDaisy.sys is a virtual driver associated with the BattlEye anti-cheat software that is known to cause BSODs. Please refer to this FAQ for further information about BattlEye services and this specific error:
When starting my game with BattlEye enabled, my system crashes with a bluescreen (BSOD). First of all, ensure that Driver Verifier is disabled on your system as it is currently known to cause problems with BE. You can find how to do so here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/244617/using-driver-verifier-to-identify-issues-with-windows-drivers-for-adva. To disable it please clear all of its settings and reboot your system. Secondly, please fully update your system’s BIOS. If that doesn’t help and the crashes persist please contact our support directly so we can investigate your issue.
https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/
