That's called conforming.
Adaptation and evolving in an environment. Using one-trick pony ideas is just stooping to the pre-existing problems of the meta.
I use low RPM High Impact weapons. Using high fire rate weapons to shred requires players to close the distance, such a COD tactic and strategy, just melt your target in seconds. I never grew up playing Halo, Battlefield. The weapon sandbox is more diverse.
Adaptive frames.
Precision frames.
High Impact.
Slugs.
There's more than one way to play and everyone goes for whats easy. Never difficult. They judge weapons to be meta and the rest trash. It's no wonder why our weapon economy is so terrible. Or why you'd resort to a high RPM to get in and out.
