Worst champion ever…not even a skill issue. Just bad coding and update. I’ve solo flawless dungeons / trials flawless / etc..I get GM are challenging but the Overload Minotaur is broken. They get stunned for 1 sec.. and then teleport 40 times. They are completely able to ignore an overload shot. It doesn’t affect them. Regen in less than a second. Bungie needs to fix the overload Minotaur asap. ( Referring to the Glassway GM ) ( I have beat it already this week )

The fact they keep shooting after being stunned it's f***** annoying!
-
The only issue I find is that they can kill you after being stunned, which also applies to Unstop Ogres. It’s something about the Erratic movement and the constant Charge mechanic they have.
-
A handcannon with kinetic tremors works great on them. Even in a GM.

1 ReplyMy only problem with them is sometimes stey still shooting/teleporting after a stun and its pretty bad in GM

They’re one of the only champs that makes the Bleak Watcher is very useful since they act like a Overload but charge at you like a Unstoppable. Deadly combo when you’re in content 20 LLs - 30 LLs under.

Stasis hunter is really good or void with suppressor nades but I lean more towards stasis.
-
I know it’s just for warlocks but the stasis turrets literally erase their overload function and you can melt them instantly. Especially if you have facet of courage on

Champs not being stunned for long has been a recurring problem for me. Worst off was when Bungie nerfed Suspend on champs to about 3 seconds. Feels more like they are suspended for only .5 seconds 90% of the time. Meanwhile we get hit with suspend and it lasts forever and we become an easy kill compared to enemies. What is the point of a CC effect if it's barely even there? The health regen and ability spam of both Overloads and Barrier champs as well is so stupid it deters players from activities with such enemies as them healing after you spent your ammo for barely any damage while they kill you in a few seconds just feels like a waste of time.

Edited by Guardian,Archon Of Light: 6/27/2024 1:31:20 PMNo, give me a hundred overload minotaurs or captains anytime over a Stasis Subjucator or a Hive Titan

Thunderlord is my go to for overloads. Works a treat.

I stick to either Slow or Jolt to deal with Overload Champions. Either with a subclass option that is easy to keep on hand or with weapons such as a Chill Clip or Voltshot perk. Riptide with Autoloading Holster and Chill Clip has been my go-to for quite a while now, but since this Artifact has Submachine Guns as Anti-Barrier, I am getting a lot of use out of my Ikelos_SMG with Voltshot for double Champion Duty.

3 RepliesI’ve found that it’s better to use a lingering effect on overloads rather than the one off stun. For example, inflicting an overload with jolt, slow, or le monarch poison. The game seems to remember that the overload is still stunned and I can deal damage without it healing, even after it recovers early. Make sure to pump out high damage with a rocket or lmg to get a fast kill.
