Am i crazy for thinking that this season is season of the splicers all over again.
Come to think of it without a big bad the game feels dead now lore wise. Whats the point going forward?
I feel like this will be a dead game in a year. GTA6 is gonna put this in the dirt.
I feel like this will be a dead game in a year. GTA6 is gonna put this in the dirt.
“Destiny will die in a year. [New game] is gonna kill it.” Is a tale as old as time. Morons have been saying this since 2014, and it still hasn’t happened.

The fallout of the war with the witness. Cabal factions Hive gods Vexx Scorn and taken are still around The remnants of the dread. The nine they are shady AF Still fallen factions Potential to rebuilding civilization properly Our alliance and it's future now Loads of narrative threads to explore and while not as big still threats left to face. Lore wise it's a time to grieve what was lost reflect on what was gained. And maybe find new meaning. For me in my own guardian lore he and ghost (sparkles) are relaxing and just taking it easy until the vanguard have a job for us. I can see my guardian walking the Street of the last city without all his gear just enjoying the site if peace whilst knowing the fight for peace is far from over.

Lore-wise we have a lot going on, the Slayer Baron thing seems a bit stretched in Episode 2 as much the Season of Plunder was, but should be a bit of fun especially with finally returning to the Fikrul story, and the rest of it is looking very hype. This current Episode is going to be dealing with someone who has been in the background for quite some time and for Episode 3 we have Dreadnaught activities happening, where we most certainly are going to be subverting Xivu Arath once more and potentially exposing more Oryx lore. Next year it looks like we are traveling the galaxy, especially with the cutscene that dropped yesterday with Osiris and Saint. Speculation includes Lubrae due to a probe being sent to a mysterious coordinate hidden in Rhulk's Pyramid, Torobatl and/or Riis to be retaken for their respective races, even the mysterious location the Drifter visited where he altered his Ghost to escape could potentially appear.

Black ops 6 bringing back old prestige model will take players too. Destiny does have a lot of old cod players who left due to no prestige, boost jumps etc but it's going back to black ops 2 era n will take players, me included

FACTS. I was one of them, too!

I know because I bounced as advanced warfare released,I just couldn't, kids running on walls n stuff, I'm too old, played destiny beta n was hooked, it was like cod but no PvP, no camping, just weird enemies, cool music, I'm all in. Saw lots of familiar names too, it dropped at just the right time for older cod players. I've bought a few cods since but seasonal prestige killed incentive, n most of them were very heavy on needing a headset or be heard from miles away so I didn't play much. I lived in black ops 2 pre destiny, max prestiged on 3 platforms. Feels like a perfect storm, they're bringing back old prestige, it's 2 years of black ops 6 then a black ops 2 remake, it's free on gamepass which you need to play cod online anyway, so it's a win win win. I just got a series X which will run it better than my S. Then FS launches n I'm mmmm maybe I'll stick with destiny, then 2 days in n I never wanna launch this game again

From what I hear, GTA 6 is gonna essentially force people to buy a GTA Plus account and if it's gonna end up being like a monthly subscription, nope. Far too many apps, games, streaming services and everything in between want a monthly paywall and I don't have enough for everyone and GTA is absolutely NOT that game that is gonna get that out of me. Once you've seen the whole City, you've seen it all and there's nothing that's ever gonna be worthy of a monthly subscription.
