Apparently several people are having this same error including me, and so far nothing has been resolved by Bungie, today there was maintenance and the bug continues, it's complicated...

After the day 1 issues with unlocking the new class, they should have prioritized fixing it. They pulled the game down to address an issue with the raid instead. They should have delayed the raid instead since this glitch (and the others associated with unlocking the class) are far more important. Aspects and fragments aren't unlocking, there are issues equipping the new super on the regular Void subclass, key quest items are disappearing from inventories, quest progression itself is a mess, Pathfinder progression is bugged (rewards aren't dropping), weapon upgrading is glitched, etc The expansion, for the most part, is currently in a nearly unplayable state. I shouldn't have to replay missions over and over again and pray to God that the game I paid $140 for works as intended. Here's hoping Sony/PlayStation steps in and takes control over Bungie's operations. I never had a problem with one of their titles working on day 1.

I've been playing destiny since the beta of destiny 1 and it's the first time I've gotten a bug that made me so angry and upset at the same time, I really hope this bug is resolved because being left without a new subclass that everyone around you It's very sad, even more so for people like me and maybe you too who only play destiny

I got into Destiny right before 'The Taken King'. I managed to get a copy of the base game from BestBuy for $5. I loved it so much, I didn't think twice when the expansion was released. I was preordering everything Destiny from then on... Until 'Lightfall'. When Operation: Seraph was a glitchy mess, I knew that the expansion would be just as bad, so I cancelled my pre-order. Came back at Christmas time when everything was on serious discount and decided to pre-order 'The Final Shape' after how much I enjoyed 'Into the Light'. I am thinking that was a mistake, eh?
