No, it's not, because you lost the minute you paid them. All they needed was to get people to buy, and business goes on as usual. Sorry, not sorry, but people who pre-order or jump to buy at the last minute are the actual problem because they are blindly buying.
It's giving developers like this one the okay to sell a broken product with false promises to fix it later. It's 2024 and there are way too many people that blindly buy.

Sadly too true. Despite 10 years experience I shelled out for the pre-order and took it up the backside once again. Last time I do that, I'll wait until they fix their shiz next time. If there is a next time... -
I stopped pre-ordering games years ago because of how bad gaming has become. IMO not all but a lot get caught up in the F.O.M.O. Once they get over that they can see there really isn't anything to miss.

Absolutely. I only bought Lightfall a couple of months ago for a bargain price and guess what, they gave it out for free after I had!! And while a lot of players were burned out and waiting for the Final Mishape, I had plenty to do. I didn't complete it all, but it doesn't matter. And the one exotic weapon I didn't get is now for sale in the Monument to Lost Lights 😊

I haven't played Destiny in a while because there are much better games to play than Destiny. I just got back into Waframe to check out the new DLC. The nice thing about it is that I can play at my own pace and how I want to play, and not have to worry about the content being removed that this developer uses to create part of the problem with the F.O.M.O.

I MUST check out Warframe. Some of my close friends have been playing it for years, but not continuously. It seems to be a tireless game that you can pick up and put down whenever you like. And this is obviously the perfect recipe considering the longevity of the game. So how is it that the developers can keep adding content without sunsetting, but Bungie can't?
-
Some of my close friends have been playing it for years, but not continuously.
I suggest having them get you going because starting out solo can be a little confusing, but once you get what you need to do there is a lot of content. I also suggest try having an open mind because some tend to compare games and that isn't how anyone should go into a new game they are checking out. Let me give you an idea of what I mean about a lot of content. Take 4 of the biggest destinations in Destiny and put them together and that is close to the size of Earth in Warfreame.

Sounds good to me. My favourite games are Gran Tourismo, Res Evil, Zelda, and was, Destiny. All totally different, but all top games. I hate rushing through anything I play, so I think trying out Warframe would be quite an enjoyable challenge. And there's nothing I enjoy more than a good grind 😁
-
I've played all the games you mentioned but Res Evil. I still have some things to collect in Tears of the Kingdom, messing around with The last of us, and a few other games. What I used to play a lot was Halo, and CoD lol.
What I used to play a lot was Halo, and CoD lol.
Oh we all have but that's a given lol. And as for you saying Warframe might be a little confusing for a solo player, Destiny is still confusing for me after 10 years!! I'll definately try it, and I believe it's still free to play to a certain extent?
I'll definately try it, and I believe it's still free to play to a certain extent?
Warframe is an actual F2P game. There is nothing you need to buy. Trading with your friends is what will help you out a lot, and I'm sure your friends will be more than willing to load you up. To get slots for weapons and your frames there are a few ways to do it. Of course, you can pay for it, or you can just play the game that offers a few ways to acquire them. Your friends will help you so you won't have to worry about forking out money to get anywhere. I just now completed what they call a Mastery Rank that levels up, and when you complete a level they offer you rewards like slots that I just now got which is a weapon slot. Slots are the only thing that is slow grinding, but the grind in Waframe is well worth it. You are rewarded for your time spent in the game, unlike this game which wastes more of your time doing nothing more than anything else.

You're right and this is the last time I ever pre-order something. It's just not worth the aggravation and grey hair.
