Can't say I've noticed the nerf that much, still shreds on my builds.

necrochasm will completely outclass it going forward. before the nerf, necrochasm was so far behind quicksilver in power it was comedy.

Necrochasm is a raid weapon. It should outclass a pre-order exotic.
-
Not an option for me as I no longer raid so QS will do just fine. ;)

Nerf 1 basically increased shots needed by about 4 per a rocket while nerf 2 basically halved the damage of the GL to the point it struggles on champions, minibosses, and bosses and is really only good for majors and red bars.

Did me just fine through Legend Zero Hour and Onslaught but I never rely on the grenades anyway.

The issue is before in return for less dps and total damage the perk was super quick to obtain over the other alt fire weapon perks but now the damage is less than the other alt perks while also now being on par with Revision in how fast you get it. The only thing it has is the Revision light burst doesn't deal enough damage (Heavy does but it doesn't give much to the perk) but that's being fixed with the 38% buff it's getting. I think I could be fine with the lower damage IF the perk was still the fastest out of the 3 big alt weapons (Vex, Quicksilver, Revision) but rn it's faster than Vex but about the same speed as light burst revision and deals the lowest of the 3

Bruh we do not care if YOU did just fine the gun is mediocre now. I can do a lost sector with a blue weapon do that is irrelevant.

Edited by Prowler690: 6/1/2024 1:19:47 PMAh I get it now, it's not about capability it's about feeling special. Ok so the gun is mediocre, D2 exotics have rarely felt special for many seasons, certainly not as the way they felt compared to legendary weapons in D1. Also - new season incoming so existing established "Meta's" get "Tuned" to make the hot new loot attractive. People will forget the nerf as they will be busy cuddling something new soon err bruh
