Hey there, if the name wasn't being accepted, it meant it was hitting the name filter for whatever reason.
When you tried a random name, it didn't hit the filter and got accepted.
We were given a second name change token when into the Light launched, and they do stack with a previously unused one. If you're able to type a new name in, it means you do have another change available.

As I tried first few times to change the name but it didn't work and when I randomly put the name it changed and it says now I can't change my name again. Due to bug on their website I am stuck with the name I don't want.
when I randomly put the name it changed
Because that name wasn't being prevented from use by the filter
As I tried first few times to change the name but it didn't work
Because you were hitting the filter. 2 situations can happen when you hit the filter - You see settings saved -> refresh the page -> name change wasn't saved - The save button does nothing. What was the name you were trying?

I was trying my playstation username which is Rorschach and I save changes tried to refresh nothing. The thing is if save changes does nothing then whats the point for it being there? Look I myself is a developer I understand these things on that point but if it's the bug and it's hitting the filter it should alert the user about it. So the user know why it's happening and fix it. If it's hitting the filter and doesn't let user know this is the developers mistake to not let user gave alert.

Not too sure why 'Rorschach' would hit the filter other than Bungie assuming if you're using it, its personal info or they're using some places like UrbanDictionary etc to filter out words based on alternative meanings Yeah, the system should tell the user its blocking due to the name being filtered - just another issue with the site that likely wont be addressed.

I know but it needs to be addressed because it's forcing user to have username they don't want which is not fair for the users. I hope bungie can help me with this issue.
