Chaos reach does this. You just tap the same buttons. Its supposed to let you keep some of the remaining energy. Ive never noticed getting to keep much more than a tenth if im lucky.

Chaos will never be good in any part of the game again though. And early cancel for PvP at all is a slippery slope.

I couldn't disagree more. I use chaos reach for everything except tough gms and crucible. It keeps up, while being extremely fun and easy to use. Im sure theres some ridiculously optimized seasonal perk, weapon swapping, bait and switch, double slug whatever that does eight whole percent more damage or something. I couldnt be bothered with that annoying play style tho. Chaos reach with geo mags and thunderlord had gotten me through everything this game has to offer.

Got nerfed because Geomags and early cancel was cancerous in PvP.

It originally used to leave up to 50%, but it got nerfed.

Because only hunters and titans are allowed to have abilities that effectively extend and recharge their supers.

I believe Phoenix and Orpheus got hit at the same time, probably all of them that function the same. With a lot of the super energy return exotics, it use to be easy to get your super back while still in the first one.

Ursa also got hit hard. Dunno why he's saying only Titans and Hunters are allowed when Ursa used to give enough super that in pvp you could easily get like 80% of your super back from blocking even while attacking but now in pvp you only get like 5-10%
