I guess its a good thing they are trying to make sure it works. Its probably not supposed to be the craftening and I'm sure you'll be able to continue to mess the game up in other ways.

  • Here's the thing about that. If... And this is a huge if... But if they do slowly add more options from each subclass to really allow some mix-and-match stuff, that's fine. Problem is, the Fragments are still not in any way, shape or form setup in a way that actually has these subclass abilities work together like the examples I gave. Furthermore, there was a guy on Reddit that revealed "Prism" as the new subclass quite some time ago and even said it would allow players to mix subclass abilities. Whoever he is, he has intel. I think it was a former Bungie employee. He also said that there is a Destiny 3 in the works and it's codenamed Payback. He said that, in D3 there will be no more subclasses and that players will just be able to select whatever they want, whenever they want of any of the elemental abilities. The issue with that is, if that's true, it means Bungie is having players pay full-price for a beta-test of something they're going to release later at full-price again. Which sounds like something Bungie would do.

  • Bungie confirmed that there will not be a Destiny 3. They said they didn't even want to make a sequel, and wanted to just add into the first game. They are gonna do that with 2 instead of making a third game.

You start somewhere and make your way to where you're going instead of demanding that someone else hand the ending to you and pat you on the head and say you earned it. That's like saying people paid full price to beta test stasis before the ligth subclass upgrades. The game evolves over time. Of course when we play it people leapfrog all over the place using all manner of approaches but it can't get made like that.
