I got an idea for a new Warlock melee:
Leech:
Hold melee to weaken and sap the life of nearby enemies. Kills with Leech grant melee energy, extending the total time you can use the ability.
Think Moira from Overwatch

Well... Melees are typically one-and-done for simplicity. Though I think this could be a fun Aspect to put in. No need for the Child.

Or maybe you should take more health from weakened enemies, making running Child and Leech a good combo?

Maybe, but it would essentially be the same as Disorienting Blow in terms of gameplay. Unless you are thinking more like a Moira ball. I think a Moira Ball would be nice.

Edited by ActualBlueberry: 1/23/2024 6:28:26 PMNo I’m thinking more like Moira’s primary attack. You’d latch on to an enemy and drain life from them, healing yourself. Also with the ability to latch on to 2-3 targets

The problem is that it would have to be quick, and you're wanting a long melee attack. The reason is why it has to be quick is so it doesn't interrupt the flow of combat. Though, honestly... What if instead of a long leech time.... It was a force palm like The Old Vortex Branch Melee. The effect of it is that you trigger Devour on hitting a target, consuming the Melee.
