Some kind of shooting range that allowed people to work on movements and aiming that they see other people do in pvp would most likely help produce more pvp good vibes. Definitely can't help for pvp to be treated like something people practice at a little more. And if course it would be optional. There are definitely all manner of fairly simple aimed ng brick or color configurations that could help people become accustomed to trigger and aiming control scenarios and even tell them things about moving when shooting or maybe even in lala land some way to call attention to things in matches that aren't happening directly in front of you.

 • If it is designed well with a tutorial as extensive as something like Monster Hunter, there would be a massive shift in player skill for those that cared to learn. Then people might remember what makes the game so fun, even if it is growing old. And people would see why it's the neglected PvP that keeps the game alive between content droughts.

 • I remember back in the halo forge people had some training things they made going around and that was pretty cool. And stuff like that is stuff that anyone would be interested in at least trying out basically just like fishing but for pvp and actually for pvp.

 • Forge was amazing. If they gave players the ability to make their own social spaces, they can stop complaining about development being hard and let people make the content they want to play with friends. Or challenge themselves to ever greater extremes without alienating the people that haven't figured out how to walk and chew gum yet.

 • The most amazing thing about halo 3 when you look back at it is how small the studio that made that game was. People ask for forge like things in this game a lot but destiny and the moving pieces seems like it could be more challenging to get done right or keep up than halo. To say the least. They could certainly experiment with some kind of smaller controlled environments or something though. Anything to make people feel more like they're a part of what they're doing at this point because stuff like that tends to happen as you see games going into these extended lifespans. There was also some completely ridiculous narcissism around forging in the pvp community that doesn't need to be repeated where people were thinking they should be telling devs what to do based on their ability to place the blocks that the devs gave them.
Undoubtedly.
They could certainly experiment with some kind of smaller controlled environments or something though.
I think they should try.
It may also help the community be better informed through personal experience and feel like they contributed something to this hobby we all enjoy.
Yeah. We certainly need to be mindful of that. Right conduct in our exchanges. This place is already rife with toxicity that gives them the excuse to straight up ignore us. Some of it is warranted, even if lacking in diplomacy.

That's been one of the issues with having Bungie do the only PvP is that's its hard to discern where the line between fun and toxicity really is. And its something that (almost) no one wants to be in charge of, which to me is actually a good thing and why this is the community to have something like what mlg used to be but way better and less about individuals.
