Removal of linked account
Good day, my steam account was hacked on 02 October 2023 and an epic account was linked to my steam account, I've already been in contact with epic games, please read attached, epic games referred me back to Bungie support into resolving this matter, I originally made a post earlier, which referred me to epic games, now it feels like I'm getting the run around, along with someone changing my username along with the deletion of 2 characters, there was lots of time invested, please advise... thank you
Any feedback into this matter would be greatly appreciated

Allo there, Unfortunately Bungie can't remove linked accounts as they don't know the credentials as every account needs to be authenticated before removal. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide [quote]Unknown Linked Accounts Bungie will not remove unauthorized Cross Save links from Bungie.net profiles. Players are recommended to not share their account details with anyone and to set up 2-step authentication on their platform accounts to prevent unauthorized access.[/quote] You will need to work with the platforms that are connected in order to remove them.

Creating multiple posts isn't going to change the answer you've been given. Bungie cannot remove the linked accts. You will not be given another name change. Anything deleted will not be restored. Security of your acct is your responsibility, not Bungie's.

1 ReplyBungo should reconsider their platform linking system. People didn't pay 300+ eur/usd just to get hacked and not being able to have it resolved.
