Weapon drop rates for this season are unbalanced (especially world drops)
Hey bungie, thanks for taking time and listening to our suggestions. That being said, me and many other have a request that we want to make. There are so many great weapons that came out this season with good roles to boot, however the ones that I’m referring to are just world drops and they’re nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get a second time (at least as a casual player). There are many great and powerful weapons to be found in Destiny, but because of the way that the loot pool is there are probably at least 15 I haven’t even heard about. I keep trying to get one of my world drop weapons to drop again for specific roles, but no matter how long I play it just won’t drop. If there is anything that can be done to help with this whether it be engram focusing or an option for crafting it would be greatly appreciated. I hope this reaches someone that can help with this but if there is nothing that can be done I completely understand. Have an amazing day/night and thank you for helping to save one of my favorite games.

Well, they are adding world loot focusing at the gunsmith. Unfortunately, it's only season 16-19 at the start.

3 RepliesI’ve been trying to get the new world drop pulse rifle all season, I’ve been playing all sorts of activities and I haven’t got a single one to drop. These world drops are way to rare, I feel the new world drop weapons should be dropping the most out of anything I thought that was the purpose of the world loot pool.

I’ve gotten dozens of old world loot and seen maybe 2 of the new sidearm and 3 of the sword.

Getting a good world drop is the rarest thing in the game easily, and such a nonsensical system of getting them.

What is the list of weapons that you are looking for that is a world drop, this will probably help a little more with them cause they do ask for specifics at times.

I love the season weapons and season weapon drop rate, but I don't think I have seen any world drops aside from what Banshee might have.

3 RepliesI would love Nimbus to do engram focusing for Neomuna (non terminal overload) weapons. Getting Round Robins has been difficult (none with even usable rolls so far).

World drops should favor loot from the past 2 seasons and armor should be reduced once you hit powerful cap.

I totally agree, I feel the world loot pool drop rates has been meddled with, I have played for hours at a time just enjoying myself, and I feel like I have not gotten anything other than like armor from basic activities. All of the weapons have been from pinnacle drops.

This is the first season out of all of them where my vault and my postmaster have NOT had issues with being full. I usually collect a lot of things, store them away and then when I start running out of room, I go through it and decide what to keep and what to delete. They’ve definitely done something.

that's why the next season banshee change is perfect for the game , very unbalanced drops seasonal guns are the ultra mega casual drops in the game that take very little grind to get on the other hand new world drop guns are near impossible to get without lot of luck

Bungie will be removing multiple weapons over a year old from the world loot pool and moving them to foundry focusing and vendors next season, so that should make it easier to get some of the newer weapons from random drops.
