Where is everybody? I am having trouble finding new people to join my clan

My clan has existed since Warmind, and I have recently become its new leader after the original moved on. We have about 12ish active members, and I have tried multiple ways to gain the attention of others. I have posted on the d2 forums, other subreddits, discord servers, and tried going into LFG to find people. None of them seem to work, and the people who do join leave after a day without ever posting in LFG in our own server. Does anyone have any ideas to solve this issue?

  • Well in my personal experience it's because it's always the same ppl playing together. °Same 6 on raids °Same 3 on Gm's Gotta say I've been without a clan for a while now and i dont feel like I'm missing a lot. Still get everything done except for a few raids here and there.

  • Do you have regular, planned events for Nightfalls, dungeons and raids? Involve new players in activities? Sherpa them in higher end activities, or help them in stuff they can't do solo? I've joined, and quickly left, a few clans because they haven't offered any of this. In my experience, most tend to be a clique of friends or better players that ignore new members unless they can knock off a GM. People join clans to learn. Can't learn if you don't get the chance to.

    • They all went the same place your former clan leadership did. Elsewhere.

    • English only? Why? And do you mean English as in from England or English as in the language? You may want to clarify. That said, most people have clans now that they're happy with. New players are rarer than long-term ones and you'd have to be a spectacular clan to get people to leave ones they're comfortable in. As stated by someone else, we're also in a content drought, there's nothing new or fun to do so people are playing other games, personally I'm playing Nier Replicant.

      • Maybe it's the season slowing down and other big name games drawing people away for the time being? I imagine things will start to pick back up as the season comes to a close and people come back to cram last-minute triumph/seal completions before the new one drops. This is just speculation on my part though, so I could quite certainly be wrong.
