It’s not a trust issue it’s a fun issue.
When the game is no longer fun to play it’s time to play something else.
Just say no to FOMO and take a break from the franchise until Final Shape is released.
That could possibly be enough time for Bungie to have seen the error in their ways.
BUT don’t hold your breath. The game could still be an unrewarding time sink by then for all we know.

Edited by The Hermit IX: 7/12/2023 7:10:21 PMThis is a fair statement. Too many unhappy players continue to buy and play with the expectations of the game changing to the version that’s in their head. It’s not going to and that’s a simple fact. Bungie makes the game and whatever they decide to do with D2 will be what you get to play. Tons of games to play that don’t make a person miserable. Gaming is hobby for 99% of people playing and should be fun. I enjoy D2 so it’s a non issue for me.

Edited by Salamander: 7/11/2023 9:10:25 PMBungie isn't going to "see the error of their ways". This isn't directed at you, but there's so many people that will still defend the state of this game. We have a decade of a track record, from D1 to D2. Lightfall's atrocious story writing is pretty much reminiscent of "I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain" from vanilla D1. I don't understand what it takes for people to see how things are and they're most likely going to be when the paper trail is right there. From story writing to actual game content, there's so many issues and it's so unfortunate that this game will just always be the game that has "potential". Now that the pinnacle grind is over, the game is showing exactly how empty it is. And in reality, it's always been that way due to a lack of actual content. Instead what we've been given is endless recycled content and rinse, repeat stale activities.
