Vex incursion event (strike force) still crashes game on PS5
Whenever I’m doing the vex strike force event my game freezes on the final boss with error code CE-108255-1.
What causes this and can this please be fixed? Is there anything I can do to prevent that from happening?
Just wanna get my exotics.

Clearing the cache might help. Turn off your PS5 (do not put in Rest Mode) and connect the controller using a USB cable. Hold the power button on the PS5 until you hear a second beep (takes about 6 seconds. Press the PS Button on the controller. Use the D-pad to navigate down to “Clear Cache and Rebuild Database” then select it. Choose “Clear System Software Cache.” Select “OK.”

it's not the console. I ran some, never had any issues - no crashes, no lag, no drop in frame rate.

1 ReplySame! Tried as of Deep, and still crashes! I got logged back in at one point and somehow the vent was still going on and tried to finish it, but it crashed again.

2 RepliesWhen Vex Incursion first launched the main cause of crashes for PS5 users was the ridiculous amount of particle effects flying about; this issue has since been addressed by vastly reducing the particle count. A quick search of the error code you cite suggests you [i]may[/i] be having a database issue. I play on PS5 and it’s never crashed mine. I ran a few last week and there wasn’t any issues. I wonder what causes this for certain players. What main/build were you running?
