Let's talk about Trials.
Trials in it's present form is utterly irredeemable. Somehow worse in every way than it already was, which is truly impressive. Not even for the reason I first assumed, being the capture zones! The capture zones are fine.
The spawns are beyond god-awful. Probably just a symptom of it being Burnout this week (again), but still a massive problem. This is Shipment in Destiny levels of instant death. Sightlines reaching from spawn to spawn. If you want to use this new gamemode, for the love of god curate the map playlist with it in mind. Don't just haphazardly throw spawns around.
And more egregiously... the "matchmaking". No trace of connection based, skill based, card based, not one f***ing [i]iota[/i] of sense whatsoever.
I just played a fresh card match where the enemy went flawless. Followed by another match against the [b]same people.[/b] Teammates using sunset weapons, actively throwing themselves off the cliff, pushing teammates out into enemy fire. Teammates bad enough that a literal empty player slot would be less of a detriment.
Just revert it. It was barely any good before, but this utter joke of a "revamp" will kill trials deader than it's ever been.

No long drawn out nonsense. Some rds only last 30 seconds lol. I mean, you now exactly where the other team is gonna be so just start chunking nades and hard scoping….easy Edit for fat fingering a word lol

24 RepliesThe biggest problem with trials is the population. They should allow ppl to get adepts simply by completing a card, I thought this was what they were instigating but alas you had to already had to have gained that adept (by going flawless) which is beyond mist casuals.

Edit: Maybe even lock players out of trials for the week after 100 games are played. That way stupid pools/matchmaking systems are not needed to give casuals and better experience, instead temp ban the hardcore sweats after they reach 100 games. I firmly believe that players shouldn’t be allowed to go flawless 25 times in 1 weekend.

Bungie are doing an excellent job at slowly killing crucible off; they are bit by bit dismantling the PvP side of this game; from vaulted content such as maps to just messing with game modes; adding capture and different spawn points in trials this week to competitive adding rift and showdown to the playlist and reducing survival to 3 rounds for the win. It’s just tinkering with PvP and adding no value but only detriment to this side of the game. By design? Maybe, Marathon is on its way…

( this will just make streamers and cheaters cry. ) 2. put in a block so u cant be able to reset a card if u dont have a loss on it. ( this will stop reset farmers.) 3. make it so u cant start a match if u aint on the same win on card. ( this will stop cary resetters..) 4.dont make the gun the flaw reward, make a special new ornament/glow every week or a special glow for every different map. And let everyone be able to get the gun if they can get 50 wins in 1 weekend in trials. youre welcome bungie, your trial population will rise again.

4 RepliesTrials PC match making is broken and unplayable . Team stacking 2.0,3.0 KD's and the cheats against much lower none flawless KD players is a waste of time. Bungie will have to stop putting none flawless players against a team of stacked flawless high KD teams. It don't work it will never work and is a complete waste of your time. My suggestion to those trying to go flawless is not play trials anymore until bungie fix's it . If they never do then we all get the last laugh when it dies.

Bungie got rid of the card base matchmaking and flawless pool this season that's why you're seeing those on trials cards they should've just left it alone but nope they did not now all the hard-core players can stop whining so, they can stomp

5 RepliesI had fun yesterday in trials quick games lol, I’m not that good at crucible but I can clutch some rounds and do decent some games and like a solid 8 games my rounds lasted less than 10 seconds with how good some teams are, I mean hey quick games thoughl lol
