Add strikes only playlist option
Heist battle grounds is not difficult but it is long and tedious. It seems to be the only thing loading from vanguard playlist and i thought i was going nuts as i did not know about that change.
I much prefer just running strikes on occasion to test loadouts or just have some fun. I also dont have time to run through an entire heist battleground so now i find myself running out of time and having to drop out.
This was not an issue with strikes
Also annoyed they replaced pinnacle with exotic drops. I have all the exotics droppable by those engrams and have for a while so its worthless while im still chasing one more pinnacle.
I wish this game would stop changing for the worst and use an additive feature instead of remove and replace loved activities.
This game is so unrecognizable from the version i agreed to purchase and i dont like it.

I think adding BG to the Vanguard Playlist is a good idea because now we have more "strikes" to play. I was tired of playing the same strike every 3 times. If you're gonna play strikes just to try loadouts, go to the regular strikes on each planet and try them there. replacing the Pinnacles (Vanguard Playlist, Gambit, Crucible, and seasonal activities) with Exotic engrams that aren't even at a higher level was a really bad idea.

I was able to do just a normal strike on Mars battleground in 7 minutes and 35 seconds. I think it's a skill issue for you bud

It seems like as Marathon gets closer, they just kind of amp up on neglect with D2. It feels like they just want to be done with it, and never look back, and honestly with the lack of knowledge and skill in Bungie, that the rest of the industry seems to have some idea on at least, they should probably NEVER try to make anything beyond the most basic shooter again, anyway. Oh yeah got caught up in the last part. It would be nice to have Strikes separate from Heist Battlegrounds. This stupid obsession with trying to drag every activity out and turn everything more and more into Raids is just nonsense.

At this point they can introduce another Playlist for Battlegrounds only. There are 13 battlegrounds.

1 ReplyJust let people choose from a drop down list which strike/Battlegrounds etc they want to run. Plus let activities chosen from the planet/location nodes count to Vanguard rank. Deal done.

I was so happy to see the back of some of those seasonal BG's, now they are back in the strike playlist, while strikes from the base game and first two expansions are missing, plus the most fun strike from Forsaken, gone, but the awful POE train strike survived the culling, lmao. My god those old bgs are tediously boring, agree with you 100% they arent fun to play in general.

Agreed. I mean, sure we can run the strikes from the standalone nodes on the planets but those don’t give any vanguard XP so it ends up feeling kinda pointless.

I hate the battleground content. It's lazy. Rather than developing content for the playlist, they just add old seasonal activities to the playlist. These seasonal activities get boring & stale with the first few weeks of the seasons. Every time I'm playing the Vanguard playlist, I back out of battlegrounds when they come up. The content is -blam!-.
