Iron banner is in shambles
Constant mercied every time over and over what the hell happed to people and iron banner throwing every match every time
Also not earning iron banner rep nor valor rep on that one mars map and the cauldron map also like what in thee heck is that about.

Yeah, I mean IB has never been great when it comes to balanced matches, but this is a whole other level of bad and people are quitting matches in droves as soon as they realize how lopsided a game is going to be.

Agree. I'm sure some people feel different, but default Iron Banner is my least favorite Iron Banner. Any of the other Iron Banner modes are more fun than default.

5 RepliesDon't feel bad 90% of my matches today have had people quitting on both sides. Heck we lost a 70 point lead because we went from a 6v6 to a 4v6 and got spawned trapped. While I hated quitter penalty in QP it needs to come back especially in Banner. Loosing matches because of quitters is really a pain especially when you're trying to guild.

They must have opened up sbmm more. Every time they do, matchmaking and team balancing gets noticeably worse.

1 ReplyMy matches haven’t been super horrible. I’ve been on teams where we are getting it handed to us but we manage to bounce back and make it respectable and sometimes win. Could just be region or time of day. Honestly I’d rather just get the matches over with quickly so I can get the reward and move on to something else

16 RepliesAm loving the guys who are getting headshots with cloud strike from 5 yards consistently.. Never missed a shot and could also pre fire while you sprint past a door 🤯

I wonder if it's a regional thing i play out of Australia and most of the matches are not that bad until Asian based players are mapped into the group then latency becomes chronic. Once the latency issue becomes bad lots of players leave.

20 RepliesSbmm for ya then people abusing grav Lance and immortal.. almost every games I played all people did was sit at one point and beamed with grave Lance. And had one game where enemy team was loosing then 4 of the 6 put on grav Lance and just spammed it from back. If anyone tried to push it just got met with team fire grav Lance or immortal. Gotta love unbalanced weapons and bungie having no idea how to nerf them or what they are doing when buffing a single weapon. Merc was on a podcast and stated grav Lance would be meta but won't be broken and be a balanced weapon... uhhh huh merc your a -blam!-. Yesterday saw someone get one kill with grav Lance then didn't even move or touch a button and got a 7th column from that one grav Lance kill... yeah that's completely balanced merc.

1 ReplyYou are probably having difficulty because fewer gamers are playing IB. When I visited the Tower shortly after reset I noticed that there were no players at Lord Saladin's area. This is unusual for the first IB of the season.

I am not sure what platform you are playing Destiny 2 on currently, but I noticed the Steam version definitely has issues. I know the steam community will hate me for posting this problem, but it is a serious issue. Steam is not even recognized by the windows community currently as an accepted application for windows. I actually play Destiny 2 now through the windows store and it works great. Pvp feels normal again and Pve feels great and also normal. For example, I run a nightfall on the windows store version and have no issues (because I read the modifiers and have the right gear, weapons and play style right. The way the game was originally designed) However I run the same nightfall on steam and all of a sudden I cannot complete the nightfall and it feels like my teammates are not doing anything. I still notice the issue every once in a while of gamers throwing games in Iron Banner though. Players need to realize it is really obvious opposing players and players on my a team are working together. Ill give a example of this. I go to a control point I know they are moving toward right. I am 1 on 4 or more right. Some how my other teammates who are not even backing me up at the control point cannot get either control point consistently. My teammates outnumber the other 2 players and the other 2 players can be split up or on the same point. It is not possible for it to happen every match. I also notice teams spamming supers at me over and over. I am by myself... so yeah.

This one has felt abnormally bad yeah. Not to say it ever felt great. Lets just be glad it isn't rift.

But, whatever gets me closer and faster to getting that new sick emblem Im game! Im never going back once I aquire it!
