It is so horrible to use. Using a long range weapon on an enemy that is usually teleporting everywhere is not fun at all.

This is a certified skill issue moment

I agree…Leave it trace rifle forever! Use a cold heart and you will agree. If you run arc class and are able to double stun unstoppable as well, you will never pack anything else.👍🏼
-
There needs to be a second system (seperate from artifact) that lets you choose and apply which weapon types deal with what champions. Maybe a seperate screen showing all the archetypes that have had champ mods and you just select and deselect which ones do what on the fly. idk but this seasonal rotation system is annoying.

If you wait probably 3 weeks, the secret quest exotic scout will probably be really good vs overloads. Also use explosive payload scouts or symmetry.
-
use Polaris Lance
-
I usually prefer to keep my distance from overload champs.
-
Literally use Le Monarque, Div, or Thunderlord.
-
Rapid fire frame or explosive rounds works just fine. Perhaps learn how to nuke your champions before they teleport.
-
Do you just rush champions?.. I mean I get doing it in lower level stuff lol.. but if you are that close on harder level content? Then you should be on strand where it doesn't matter what you bring lol
-
Polaris Lance puts in some work
-
Didn’t realise how necessary explosive payload was for overload scout I might have to give it a try. I know I could use Le Monarque but my exotic slot is usually always filled.
-
They should just get rid of the overloads or have them focus on either ability spam or constant healing. Having them do bith is asinine when they can have immunity phases to the debuff that's supposed to stop those things.
-
Then use traces or slow or jolt or supress.
It is so horrible to use. Using a long range weapon on an enemy that is usually teleporting everywhere is not fun at all.
There should be more of each stun type for guns,I get the rest of the artifact perks. We get a few pulses from this season ,and 2 swords that would've been good last season? People tell me I'm wrong to want more vault space, but luckily I saved a bunch of jolt guns,Bungie gives us too little to work with really.Guess we'll all keep using wishender in gm and like stuff
It is so horrible to use. Using a long range weapon on an enemy that is usually teleporting everywhere is not fun at all.
Confidently incorrect.

Edited by Mara Sovereign: 5/29/2023 8:54:42 PMIf you're using a scout to stun overloads you're doing it wrong, when abilities like strand suspension work so much better
-
Honestly not sure where this POV comes from. Scouts are, to me, the best for dealing with these champions. Anything that keeps you at distance is money and kinetic tenors or explosive payload makes it beyond easy.
-
Valid. You should be able to play how you want to.
-
Must be you but i wished Osteo Striga had built in overload
-
Stasis and Conditonal Finality solve all problems
-
Does Overload Scout work in PVP, and if so, what does being Disrupted do?
-
It’s working fine for me on lightweight and rapid fire frames as well as any with explosive payload. I think it’s just overloads in general are a pain in the rear end 😅
-
overload trace works really good. especially with the new warlock helmet.
-
good thing we have a plethora of other options.
