I love reprised older weapons i never got to use; I hate seeing the sunset, greyed out version in collections, unobtainable forever. The game's a looter shooter after all, and it feels bad to see so many unobtainable loot. Sometimes they did bring back weapons right. Dreaming city/moon weapons weren't copy pasted, they were updated and there's only a single version of it in collections, as (i think) should be. But many times they dont. Instead of reprising sunset gear, they just copy paste it again and leave the old one there. Why cant you truly update the old one???? What about new perks, or origin traits? They did update the Dares of Eternity weapons with new perks and an origin trait, and still, you only see one of each weapon in collections. Older versions can still exist in the vault! Raid weapons? They did it right with the DSC guns, updating the existing ones with origin trait and new perks, and last wish as well (although they lost the forsaken icon). Lightfall gave me hope, since they brought back astral horizon and bite of the fox as true reprises, updating the existing version in collections instead of a copy. But with season of the deep, they made copies of the messenger and swarm of the raven, so the old versions just became unobtainable forever. At least hide them from collections!!! The game is a looter shooter. I like loot. I dont expect bungie to give away every item if you werent there for it, but still, seeing reprises as simple copies of the originals feels bad. Seeing so many greyed out stuff feels bad. And seeing a messy menu with tons of duplicates (or even triplicates) feels lazy and messy. bungie pls fix
