Dear Bungie Devs, Ive got an Idea for an exotic arm piece for the hunter. [b][u]Icarus Grips[/u] [/b] Exotic Hunter Grips [b]Exotic Perk:[/b] Directional Pull The Hunter will be able to perform their dodge mid air while having the strand subclass equipped, pulling the Guardian in any Direction, also creating a Grapple Tangle. Using this pull gives a bonus to every Jump [b]High Jump:[/b] After the pull you can perform an ensnaring slam wich has an increased impact radius but instead of suspending it unravels targets (Only if the aspect ensnaring slam is equipped) [b]Strafe Jump:[/b] Completely Refills one charge of your Grapples only after killing a target mid air (only if the aspect Widows silk is equipped) [b]Trippe Jump:[/b] Grants one additional jump while still in the air after using your class ability Also decreases the recharge rate of your class ability (For balancing purposes) [i]P.s. Chaining this would be made impossible, only one air dodge per airtime[/i] [i]Could look similar to the chains around Kratos' arms form god of war without the blades and a little more green light [/i]

  • Loving the concepts here! though I do have some ideas for potential improvement. Feels like these don't have to be tied to a specific jump type. I love the unraveling slam, especially if the only thing you need for it is this exotic and ensnaring slam. Getting to pick between the two is really cool imo. I feel like Widow's silk might not need the kill to proc grenade recharge, since you're already spending your dodge. I kind of don't want to limit it to grapple but I get the feeling it would be really strong to turn dodges into shackles or threadlings. Then again, if this has a long cooldown, it may be acceptable! or maybe you'd need to air-dodge near enemies like with gambler's dodge? I think maybe a first person dodge visual could be cool also, where your character pulls across the screen to one of the directions. (Also, the forward dodge could send you a little bit upwards as well, as if you were grabbing onto a swing bar perhaps?) And regarding the triple jump one, since the air-dodge already grants extra aerial mobility, I think getting even more jump height feels less important than the other things it already lets you do. Also, I see no reason why chaining this should be prevented, since if someone managed to recharge it mid-air I think they've earned that extra mobility or whatever broken thing they may be going for! The design idea is really cool by the way, like strand going around the forearm, wrist and palm? hella cool!
