Why no witness allied Humans ?
In the final season of arrival mission, at the end we see it foretold that all races of sol would eventually come to worship the pyramids
We have dark Hive,Dark Fallen, and of course Dark Cabal
It only makes sense that atleast a portion of Humanity would see the Darkness has the stronger side, and a safer bet to hitch there wagon to, better to be the right hand of the devil than to be in his way
But we don't fight any dark Humans, which would be epic, imagine enemies with the same capabilities has you , and I am not talking powers, I am talking overshields, healing and invisibility , and ability to rez each other , like a PvE crucible , Stasis Shards to empower each other , and Strand shackles to immobilize you
Are they afraid that canonically killing Humans would effect there T rating , we do it in PvP all the time , and Jaren Ward killed Dredgen Yor, and The Iron Lord's killed alot of bad intending lightbearers ,Ghosts are not perfect , some guardians need to go
Edit.....I know light and dark are neutral forces, but there sides in this conflict, with different agendas

Because they wouldn't have any idea who or what the Witness even is or does to support him. We've never had opposing human factions because A. we don't have enough humans for it to make sense and B. None of our opposing forces have been Earth-based, where all of our humans are, and the ones that have come to Earth have been swiftly dealt with by us. Remember that a normal city citizen's experience with the Witness is them showing up, going into the Travelerussy, and then watching us Guardians molly--blam!- the latest disciple like the pathetic little strike boss he is lol.

Well, humanity have no real reason to side with the Witness, neither a leader to follow. Cabal had Calus, Eliksni have Eramis and the Hive have Xivu Arath. Calus was followed by Loyalist and brain dead clones [i](as Caiatl stated)[/i]. The Eliksni follow Eramis and are driven by the grudge against the Traveler who left them during the Whirlwind. They hate the Traveler at the point the rather see it destroyed. Also, Eramis believes that this is the best for its people, probably she is convinced that after the war the Eliksni will find some kind of peace. The Hive always worshipped the Darkness and for them is natural to follow Xivu Arath who follows the Witness. Since ever humanity have been told "the darkness destroyed everything" and "trust the Light". Now we know that the Darkness was the Witness. Even if the Witness is the "stronger side", hardly someone would join it. Only few Guardians sided with the Darkness -and who did it were only attracted by the Darkness as source of Power, not the Witness itself- and they were decimated by Shin Malphur, other got corrupted and either went kinda crazy or finished in bizzare ways like Tholand.

11 RepliesThere are humans siding with the darkness, as others have already pointed out, and in the dark future guardians defected en masse to the darkness after Eris Morn was corrupted. In our version of events, that hasn't happened, so it wouldn't really make sense to have dark guardians as rank-and-file enemies since there just aren't that many around. Hopefully we do go up against one in the future as a strike/mission/dungeon/raid boss.

5 RepliesWith all the meandering stories, half finished, cut from previous seasons and patchworked in in other seasons, they have pretty much written themselves into a corner. The final shape story will most likely be a total dumpster fire

The Dredgens and dark lightbearers (the ones Shin Malphur hunts using the Shadows of Yor as a bait) are definitely darkness worshiping humans (assuming the guardian is a human one). Ones like Katabasis and Jana-14 are also clear examples of “humanity” insofar as the term means one who fights to defend the last humans alive — who could be considered on the path of worshipping the pyramids (though in the case of Katabasis he loses his stomach for it after seeing the consequences of Calus’ darkness worship) So in short, yes, there are humans who worship the darkness and would side with the pyramids — so the point that there’s still the hint of us as the Young Wolf being recruited to the Witness’ team as in the Unveiling lore book and Calus’ line in the Downfall mission where it’s still obvious the Witness and Calus have discussed us turning to the dark side, as it were.

There are rogue guardians in the lore who have steeped themselves in darkness like Shayura, and now there are the Acolytes of Nezerac which include human worshippers as well. I'm not sure if we'll get the opportunity to fight PVE enemy humans but maybe that's the reason the shadow legion is abducting people. It would be an interesting twist.

Yeah if Bungie really didn’t want to do us killing humans then they could just have exos be the important/named darkness people. Because for some reason Bungie really likes killing exos Honestly mirror match boss fights in video games are some of the coolest -blam!- ever I would love to see something to that effect in destiny pve
