Remove Battlegrounds from Vanguard Ops
Had enough playing battlegrounds during the seasons which is tedious enough in itself.
Separate them into their own playlist, that probably no one will play.
Keep strikes as strikes only, make more or add all of the old ones back in instead of taking the easy way out by adding battlegrounds.

Amen!!!!! Battle grounds were played out & tired content before their perspective seasons were over. Adding the, to the playlist sucks. Plus, now Bungie isn't even developing strikes foe the vanguard ops list. Lightfall in the first expansion in this franchise history that they only released a single strike in. We use to get 3-5 strikes an expansion.

Tbh the Europa and cosmodrome are easy and quick I just hate the mars one

uh, they actually have interesting enemy amount, there's enough moments to stop and fight, players don't rush ahead of others, and there's an abundance of dialog that doesn't feel like "Cayde6 has been gone 5 years ago. Why are they still playing this audio?"

They are mostly new to me, so I'm liking them. I get not wanting to do them again though....This seasons Defiant Battlegrounds was tedious as all heck.

I think they just need two small tweaks: -Battlegrounds from the same season should be weighted as one strike cumulatively (ie each is weighted less but the total of their weight is equal to that of a standard strike). So if there’s three battlegrounds from a season, there’s 33% lower chance to get any particular one but the odds you get one of them is the same as a normal strike. (Don’t really know how to phrase this without like a white board or something lol). Do this because Battlegrounds from the same season, while they have some differences, can feel very samey. -Get rid of infinitely spawning waves of enemies. Normal strikes do not do this unless absolutely necessary. Spawning waves of wizards in the Mars Heist Battleground constantly (for example) just isn’t really fair or fun to play against imo. You should be able to predict and control when enemies will spawn (ie a wave spawns when the boss is at some amount of health or their shield breaks, etc.) and have time to react accordingly to earn some slower paced combat. This doesn’t mean they can’t be challenging or send loads of enemies but you need to be able to actually kill everything at some point.

There are so many strikes tha i don't see anymore.... only battlegrounds show up and sometimes a real strike...

But now that every freaking strike boss has some immune phase, all the strikes suck. Way to go, Bungo. I wish there was an option to select which strikes you want to be matchmade into.

6 RepliesI realize not everyone likes the same things, but how come you dont like battlegrounds? i loved psiops battlegrounds with champions. I think the horde may be what I like most about it. lots and lots of enemies

Last season I flipped Vanguard 12 times between NF’s and strikes. This season might just do 2. I can’t stand battlegrounds. I didn’t care for them as seasonal activity and cant stand them in strikes. It’s not that they are hard or easy. I find them a slow boring activity in strikes.

Agree your last point, it should make more quality strike. But i am ok it stick with the vanguard playlist as the reality is they don't have much variety of strike now. Also i don't buy the seasonal content, i feel good when i can play battleground for free
