Trials Shaders
Hey Bungie,
I am just throwing this out there, don't know if you'll ever see it or not. That being said, I would love it since you made it possible to reward past shaders and emblems after match completion; if we could have that for trials as well. Vizier Regalia, Cobalt Clash, and Bloodline Feud shaders look great to me and its a shame that it was only able to be on armor and weapons from the flawless chest and if you ever changed the shader on those it would be lost forever. So, I think it would just be awesome to release these back into the game for people to use. Also while I'm at it, can we have a way to get Ascendant Alloy in Crucible as well? Maybe from the flawless chest, even if it was once a week thing?

3 RepliesTrials needs a major overhaul in their loot. I see way to many open world and season weapons drop after matches, rather than getting trials loot. It needs to drop old weapons and gear from matches. And emblems and shades, as you stated. Just please leave open world loot for the open world. Don't over populate the loot table with garbage that I can get elsewhere.

Another part, I feel like the trials shader should always have some semblance of gold and black, since if trials is themed about Egyptian mythology then having it be those colours would make sense

I'd like to see the flawless ornaments from D1 return, and having someone kind of shader/loot system overhaul. I agree, trials should just reward trials loot, and I think maybe a trials engram after every match, given that focusing requires up to 7 on some items.

Don’t forget the trials of the 9 shaders that’s a rare one especially dlc 1 and 2 shader as well

To be honest, I do want a trials shader but wouldn’t it be more useful as an rank up reward like iron banner, where the shader is in the second rank rewards, so you do have something to grind for but don’t need to go flawless, since you already get a weapon shader like a trials memento, which in my opinion I don’t like (too much gold in my opinion)

Yep, 100% agree! There are actually a lot of shaders, emblems, guns, and armor that's been pretty much lost into the ether of old content. Bungie should really bring as much of all the old content back in one way or another. I'd love to see a lot if not most of D1's content ported to D2 as well!
