I've been trying for WEEKS to get into D1 and I'm being met with the same error code issue and from checking through here regularly there are lots of other folks having the same problem and being met with the same copy paste response to asking for a fix.
I bought the game for the first time and feel like I've essentially been robbed of $60 because the game is entirely unplayable in it's current state.

I'm sorry you are also going through this i did testing of my own and no luck. I have had the game since it came out but I play on a different account now and I can't even play D1 on it which is obvious since I did make this post lol. Anyways I apologize on Bungie's behalf since they won't or are not willing to atm. Been a fan of Bungie and there games since H2... but oh well I guess.
