Pretty sure they'll never fix it at this point (like the bug doesn't even appears as a "known issue" in the last TWAB which is ridiculous).

You're not the only one believe me, there is between 5 and 10 person who asked for this fix per day on this forum and the D1 one and many one on replies under every tweet of bungie. (And some on D1 reddit and DestinyTechSupport reddit too!) but for bungie it's a "small ammount of players"
