I'm just guessing here and may be way off - but the API was EXTREMELY slow during the day one (it took my team about 5-6 hours before the day one tag got registered on RR). Maybe something got screwed up since you did new clears before it got properly registered.
Unfortunately I doubt you'll get any help with this from Bungie - you could try to reach out to the developers behind RR though, if you have solid proof that you did it they might give you the tag (I never watched the twitch streams you linked, but I assume they prove that you did it).

This is his Raid Report https://raid.report/pc/4611686018475460205 Can you explain to me how he got the Day One/Contest Emblem without a single clear showing on his account (Bungie Game History/Raid Report) for March 10th under Root of Nightmares raid, even though he is in the team when we beat the raid.

No I can't. But I noticed something weird in you stream... At the end, right after the boss kill - you get mission complete as you should but you still have the objective "Defeat Nezerac". I can imagine this glitched out since you wiped while you got the kill, and then got revived. It's still weird that it would reward you with the triumphs but not the actual clear though.

This "weird" thing that happened in the stream happened to so many teams, including teams that finished in the top 100 etc., and all of their clears counted. It's highly likely that there is 0 correlation between that objective not updating and the whole raid not counting.
