Nerfing Bubble is Unwarranted.
First. I rarely if ever use Bubble in PVP. I’m on the end that has to deal with it.
Second, even though I have to deal with it, it is only obnoxious in Fortress. This isn’t because the bubble is OP. It’s because the game mode practically caters to it.
Nerfing the bubble because of an ill conceived game mode that fails to take into account that bubble and well exist is poor planning. Nerfing either to accommodate a game mode that might appear once or twice a season is also poor reasoning.

I agree and I’m a Warlock main. I see a lot of what they’re doing and I think it’s smart but I feel bubble nerf was reactive to all the posts crying about IB bubbles.

2 RepliesIt’s only a pvp nerf. Yes they are reducing the total health of the bubble but they are also reducing the damage PvE combatants do to the bubble to compensate

You have no linked accounts so I can’t check but you obviously don’t play much 3v3. Void Titan is arguably the best in all 3v3.

It’s been like this the last several seasons of this year. Titans have been getting nerfs due to pvp related annoyances and PvE is also taking the hit. Titans have also received passive nerfs also. Example: The Loreley nerf of resto 2x down to 1x was justified. But then resto across the board got nerf affecting Loreley even more then just recently the Titans barricades got nerfed due to being a spam issue in pvp further passively nerfing Loreley even more. So in total Loreley since it’s release has intentionally and been passively nerf like 4x I’m pretty sure. Another Example: nerf across the board for class, discipline, strength. What our current max resilience T10 rally barricade regen is around 32sec now. When lightfall drops and the change of resilience comes it will passively nerf the barricade. Then the T10 rally barricade will be around 45sec. So that will be another nerf to titans barricades. These are times for when you are on void titan using the “Bastion Aspect”, but other subclass will still be affected the same way for the titans. This is also not including how the time will change for all character classes across the board.

All I care about if it's still viable in PvE, if it pops like the nerfed citan rampart barrier, then I will very upset that PvP has killed another PvE ability Digital Extremes has separate sandboxes, and they are a tiny company compared to Bungie , why does Bungie continue letting PvP nerf hearders kill PvE -
Yeah frick fortress. I’d rather have bubble than some dumb game mode that happens TWICE a season

11 RepliesIt's not just iron banner, it's a problem overall as it promotes scummy campy gameplay, especially in comp and trials, Have the fastest charging base super in the game? Might as well play as far back as possible and spam barricade until I get my super so I can play point and win that way. If your in the higher end of the PvP skill bracket this happens way too often. Iron banner finally just shed light on the issue for casuals to also take notice lol

1 ReplyI'm a Warlock main, and I say no need to nerf bubble. WHAT?? That's right, I said no need to nerf bubble. I got a weapon mod from Banshee-44 the other day called 'Thornthistle'. It turns any kinetic auto rifle rounds into spike balls that explode into multi spikes upon contact. (Area damage). And it does one shot to Titan bubbles, even from a great distance. Bubbles aren't hard for me now at all to deal with. [spoiler]waits to see how many ppl pile up at Banshee in the tower...[/spoiler] [spoiler]Cuz I'm lying BWAHAHAHA[/spoiler]

Its most pvp modes. Fortress. Rift. Zone controll. Controll. Trials. Iron banner. Bomb place/dismantle gametype. Thats 80% of the gametypes.

Its more than just iron banner. It's like yall pick and choose what's being said to be angry at.

Ward makes any PVP content focusing on capture points a PITA. It was needed.

2 RepliesIt's not just Fortress. It's Trials and Competitive too. Unless the other team has a super or specific heavy weapons it's incredibly risky and difficult to shut down a bubble, and considering it's in the fastest cooldown tier that's kind of a problem. Bubble will still be good after the nerf, it'll just be less of an instant win button.

The bubble nerf is more than warranted, although I'd have gone the route of just knocking it down a few tiers to lower the charge rate, but hopefully this is enough.
