Destiny 2 Character Customization (e.g Awoken to Exo, Female to Male)
In destiny 2 the only real time you can customize your character is in the very beginning before you begin the campaign in the game.
Thereafter if you want to change the way your character looks say you don't like the way your male human Titan looks, and you want to change him into an Exo or make them a female you can't do that unless you store all of your weapons in your vault off of your character then you will need to delete your character and make a new one. This is a really silly process in order to create a new character and it should be better in destiny 2 as an MMO there are many other games that have this as an option but still not in destiny 2.
If I were to delete my character and create a new one, I would have to venture through campaigns for the forth or more time such as heading back to that grind for completing stasis and endless story which I already have completed on my male human titan which I wish I could change just instantly to an Exo. I already have done this all, but it is completely unnecessary.
This means that it is just a long and lengthy process to change my characters appearance instead of giving Amanda Holiday the ability to inject Botox into my human titans face giving her a purpose bam I am an Exo. If I can change the way I look IRL I should be able to do it in a game not that I do I am happy with the way I look but my human titan wants to be an Exo so I want to give him what he wants. It could have us do bounties similar to Ada-1’s unlocking ornaments except I unlock a face change or more.
This has been the second time I typed this, so I hope it all makes sense. What you think Guardians and Bungo can’t we make this happen?

1 ReplyThis is gotta be on the bottom of any list of improvements for this game. You rarely even see your character anyway and can put helmet on as 99% of players at tower do already . How about decent servers, less lag , fixing bugs in dungeons and raids, having autofire actually work 100% for all players etc etc etc just a few off top of head need to be fixed before looking at character changes

3 RepliesEveryone wishing they could change their character, and I'm here with the same Titan since Day 1 Destiny because I made him kind of bland on purpose so I wouldn't have cringe-inducement after I forgot how he looked and took his helmet off.

I would redo my characters if it wasn't for one thing: Stasis The ridiculous grind to unlock stasis(aka the beyond light "campaign") is just too much trouble. not to mention you have to speak to Shaw Han again and that alone makes it not an option lol.

1 ReplyImagine how much effort this would be for a company that likes to chill at the (very) lazy workshy end of the effort spectrum. Imagine how much could go wrong given this is a company with an outstanding track record of blunders, issues, errors, rollbacks and failures. Imagine how much these cosmetic changes would cost, given the handling of existing cosmetics shows how truly greedy this company is.

Also, the strange thing is that Exo lore is that it's a process you choose later in life as a lifestyle choice lol So Bungie doesn't even follow their lore

1 ReplyEdited by FuzzyWolf: 1/26/2023 3:57:01 PMWoW did it so I don't know why Bungie hasn't they've been trying to make it more like that game anyway which is good especially with the fact they implemented transmog though using a consumable to unlock items was the worst way they could've done it and honestly we need to be able to transmog exotics especially since so many of them look like trash and goes well with almost nothing like for instance Starfire protocol which has been around for forever now and hasn't been given an ornament it's like someone is proud of designing it at Bungie and wants it to never look different and if that's the case -blam!- that person they need to take of their blindfold and get over themselves.
