Call for Feedback from Destiny 2 Team

Hey Guardians, We've just created a new account here to enable us to post here on the forums more. We will be talking about this Destiny 2 Team account and others on 3rd party platforms in the TWAB shortly. For our inaugural post we wanted to create a thread to gather up some of your top priorities for changes you want to see in the game. Comment below with your feedback. Share whatever you like, just keep it civil and concise so we can read through as many as possible.

  • I know this will come across as bias but I really do think the warlock light 3.0 subclasses need some identity focus and synergy. For example. The whole play style of solar for warlocks is either healer or Arial death angel. The healer is fine (for the most part) but the synergy for Arial dawnblade is just not there. Phoenix dive is on way too long of a cool down to be justifiably selected and heat rises really does need a rework. It slows the user while in the air, still doesn't grant 100% in air accuracy, no additional resilience in air, have to lose a grenade to use it, and yes you get a second Icarus dash but because Icarus dash is propelled by existing momentum and heat rises slows the user, it's in no way worth it. PvE damage is non existent. Pvp super takes way too long to charge for what it is and how fast it runs out. Pre 3.0 phoenix dive was better, it had super extension on kill and could ignite enemies far far better. That's just solar. I can say similar for void (though it is in a better place) and also arc. Void needs more melees. Life steal from D1 fits the vampire identity perfectly so it should make a return. Void warlock is the only void class that can't activate it's primary void perk on class ability deployment. Void titan and hunter both activate over shields or invis on class ability use and warlocks should be the same. We shouldn't have to lose an exotic slot and use a specific exotic and a specific rift just to do what other classes can. (Especially when devour won't help you win an engagement, it's only beneficial after the fact). Arc. Both supers do not do what they need. If chaos reach is to be a DPS super then it needs to do more than any other if it's to take as long as it does to pump out that damage. Storm trance has no place in the game right now because trash mobs are trash mobs and are so easily taken out by weapons or grenades so there's no justification for that roaming super and it's a really poor choice in pvp also with bad movement and far from resilient armor. Also I really think arc lock needs blink as a jump option and it fits class perfectly.
