For our inaugural post we wanted to create a thread to gather up some of your top priorities for changes you want to see in the game. Comment below with your feedback. Share whatever you like, just keep it civil and concise so we can read through as many as possible.

Sure okay. [b][u]My background:[/u][/b]I've played destiny since d1 beta, i have thousands of hours, multiple day 1 raids, multiple solo flawless dungeons, multiple low man raids, multiple flawless raids. i have finished multiple seasons with multiple pvp modes inside the top 1% (currently top 0.1% in momentum, top 0.1% in gambit LOL, and top 0.8% in gambit and trials) with over 100 flawless with multiple guildings of flawless/unbroken/glorious. I have every seal in the game available, every exotic, etc. I have poured 1000s of dollars into the destiny franchise (dlcs, eververse, lore books, etc.,). I've played destiny more than any other game, though destinys direction at the beginning of d2 made me take a several year break. I've reached grandmaster in Overwatch, pred in Apex and enjoy pve games as well. Additionally, i am an engineer (aerospace) so when i talk about time and effort and programming I'm not talking out my -blam!-. I will give my feedback on PVE (Campaigns, seasons, raids+dungeons, strikes and exotic missions), pvp (trials, comp/ranked, sbmm vs cbmm, maps and meta), gambit and quality of life (including the dcv). I'll try to be as clear as possible but understand the passion and frustration i feel as someone who has poured so much of themselves into this game constantly feels like the game is trying to make me not want to play it. [b][u]PVE[/u][/b] [u]Campaigns[/u] This section is in response to campaigns like the witch queen or forshaken quest lines, not seasonal. TWQ was an AMAZING story and narrative piece and was compelling. the legendary campaign was great, as was the scaling. I understand that this kind of work takes significant time and effort and it shows. Why is there no cohesive way to play through all the campaigns? i should be able to play through d1 vanilla-d2 current and re-experience all the campaigns. i shouldn't have to tell knew players to go to youtube to understand the basics of the destiny story, no less the lore. in Halo, beating all the campaigns on the hardest difficultly with you friends was a huge accomplishment, in destiny 2, you can only play TWQ on legendary, which, isn't even hard. I want to be able to play ALL of the destiny campaigns on Legendary/Master/Grandmaster. I want to do this from a launch screen and be able to launch 1 mission after the next. [u]Seasons[/u] I want to be able to play all the seasonal modes in the strike playlist. These should also be in the game. The seasonal formal has become stale, I dont want to have to regrind to be able to do activities i could do at the end of last season. The artifact changes are good. Stop bringing back areas/guns that were taken away in the DCV and calling it content. Stop removing seasons at the end of the year. [u]Raids and Dungeons[/u] Make raid and dungeon seals guildable by requiring a flawless run (and other things, or solo flawless for dungeons) every season. I know there are changes to adept weapons to make master raids worth it so thats a start. every raid and dungeon should have a master mode. dungeons should give spoils and have a chest at the end. the raid/dungeon rotator "playlist" needs to have more difficulty options, and scaled rewards (normal, legendary, master GRANDMASTER). There should have a seal for doing things in this playlist. The dungeon/raid playlist should be launchable from the "legends" node (next to pvp, strikes, gambit) and i shouldnt have to go find it in the world. Master Dungeons should also drop adept weapons and master raids should also drop artiface armor (both the raid mod slot and artiface slot). Bring back all old raids, and do it 2x faster than you are. we should be getting all the old raids back with in 2 years. [u]Exotic missions[/u] Exotic missions are some of the most fun content destiny has and should be playable at all times. in fact, i think they should have their own playlist in legends and be part of the seal i mentioned previously. They should have all difficulty options (normal, legendary, master, grandmaster) [u]Strikes[/u] The Strike playlist lays forgotten and needs a face-lift. adding battle grounds was a good start but there should be every seasonal activity in there, and there should be an additional playlist for 6v6 playlists, which should include things like wellsprings. Grandmasters are great... for 1 week when you do them all and finish the seal. They should be released right away at season launch and just have a -25(?) modifier on them, no entry light required (seems that you're headed this way which is great!). All strikes in the game should be playable on grandmaster and required for the seal guilding (or make a new seal idc). Making GMs launch right away will take frustrations away from rotating loot since there will be more time to farm (e.g., adept windago only being farmable 1 week during this season) [u]Horde mode[/u] Why is there no infinite horde mode in destiny? let me (alone or with friends) defeat endless waves of increasingly strong enemies until we can't any more. think: tower defense, the gamemode literally writes itself lol. [b][u]Gambit[/u][/b] Sigh. is this gamemode thought of at all since season of the drifter? first of all, maps, maps, maps. you took away maps and havent made any new ones for like 4 years? come on, bring back the old ones and make new ones. 1 every other season would be an appropriate pace. Bring back gambit Prime or make new gambit modes - dont replace this one just make more. PVEVP doesnt only exist in this form, there are others that should be explored. additionally, there are so many broken things in gambit that need to be addressed like motes under the map and bugged weapons. [b][u]PVP[/u][/b] oh boy [u]Trials[/u] Remove flawless pool. this has significantly hurt the mode. remove light level and tie entry criteria to owning the latest dlc. i know a fear here is that it could make cheating easier, simply monitor the situation but if you want to get pvp back into destiny trials is a huge draw but they are less interested knowing theyd have to grind to even play. do not implement sbmm into this gamemode, i promise this will completely kill it. cap point weekend is a good addition. Have more map options. [u]Ranked[/u] There is no meaningful ranking system in destiny 2 since it is tied to sbmm. reaching higher ranks is simply a factor of luck/time played since its sbmm and thats not how ranked should work. I know smurfing is a concern - make it tied to owning the current dlc. Ranked needs REAL rewards, not a participation trophy (looking at you, Rose). Every other competitive game (apex, Overwatch, league, valorant, etc.,) gives rewards based on your rank (cosmetic only!!). i know there have been words this is coming in LF but launching ranked with no rewards and sbmm made it dead on arrival. [u]Sbmm/cbmm/lbmm/fbmm[/u] Sbmm has no place in destiny 2. It punishes players for being good and rewards players for being bad. The majority of time spent in pvp is by good players and yet you continue to try and focus on ppl that barely play pvp. comp should be the place for balanced pvp. quick play should just be cbmm. additionally, p2p connections have to go. the connections were bad before sbmm and they are wayyy worse now since sbmm has driven many pvp players to quit and sbmm also means skilled players have generally significantly worse connections. lbmm and fbmm are the way to go and great alternatives to these problems + solo queue. [u]maps[/u] Simply unvault all the d1 and d2 maps in the DCV and make more. there should be AT LEAST 1 new map and 1 unvaulted map PER SEASON. Please stop making massive maps for a bit, ya? [u]Modes[/u] The combination of modes, i think, was done to help reduce the strain from a declining pvp playerbase. we need more modes, maps and better connections, this is what makes ppl go to pvp. there should be 12v12 on the huge d1 vehicle maps, erruption, srl and more in pvp at all times. [u]meta[/u] Nearly all changes made into pvp over the last year (with the exception of the last 2 weeks of twabs and notes) have been made to reduce skill gap and punish good players. AE, slide nerf, movement nerf, big maps and team firing were all changes to reduce skill game. i know a lot of these are being reverted but this was terrible and should never have happened. [b][u]Quality of Life[/u][/b] There's been a lot of good in this lately, which is awesome! The removal of Blue drops is amazing but i should also be able to have gear auto-dismantled if it has below a certain stat roll, or had a 5th mod slot (raid, artiface, etc) or a special modifier (seasonal bonus gear). pvp map voting. let me go into a custom game while queueing for a pvp game. stop kicking me out of my menu every second im loading into something. latency in pve (rubberbanding health bars, completions not happening, etc.). let me save specific controls per character, per subclass. let me save sensitivities per weapon type (sniper, shotty, etc.). stop nerfing player positive things so fast while player negative things last for months. idc that it was finished faster, duality was bugged, and still has bugs, 7 months later, but double eager edge swiping was fixed in like 2 weeks. why was the vault of glass atheon finisher bug ever a priority to fix? is fixing a bug that made low mans of a 7 year old raid boss really a priority of fixing a new dungeon that randomly kills players? idc if it was something that was finally gotten to or whatever there should have been 0 hours put into that while the game has game breaking bugs. I would like an in game encyclopedia with a cutscene library, tutorials and explanations on everything in the game, from mods to perks to lore. I love this game so much i typed this. Please, listen.
