Iron Banner a total joke
This season's IB is a joke. The only way to win a game is to be a Bubble Titan rocking DMT or Witherhoard. I miss the days where it required skill to play this game mode.

Witherhoard in 6v6 has ruined PvP. And the endless stream of Bubble wars, is just silly. It's just spamming anti-gunplay cheeses on repeat.

1 ReplyFact: Bears eats beets. Fact: Warlocks also uses Witherhoard. Fact: Bears beets Battlestar Galatica. Yes I will agree that this IB should have been Eruption rather than Fortress. This new mode is similar to Control but still serves the purpose to feel more like a CoD game. Capture, Defeat, Defeat, Defeat, Defeat, then capture. Rinse and repeat. Plus our team just reported a few players from teleporting throughout our matches. I'd like submit a screenshot from our teammates in-game chat on these lag switchers. In the end, I would probably be on the bad side. In addition, I wish to record matches without getting caught by BattlEye. Then submit these lag cheaters to Bungie. One of the Warlock players was getting hit by my Mida-Multitool and that player kept not getting hit. Then we exchange shotgun and both ends up dying. Explain how he wasn't taking damage from Mida-tool? I'd like to see Bungie to do more Ban Hammer like they did in the past with players teleporting or using a net limiter without taking damage at the end.

The whole needing wins for the gilded seal is complete bullshit too. Especially getting stuck on teams that don’t know what they are doing. SBMM is the death of this game. Whoever at bungie calling the shots needs to get fired.

1 ReplyConcept is ok, implementation around scoring is bad. There should be a better way to be able to catch up. Even if your team managed to get the point the second time around, the other team is usually way too far ahead.

Yeah I made it to like rank 6 or 7 and I'm done, I've got better things to do I guess. This is coming from someone who used to play all 3 characters through IB and looked forward to it because I prefer 6s pvp, not 3. Now it just sucks and I'm getting owned all the time as well so....

I agree. It’s ridiculous how bubbles track and chase you down to kill you. They one shot you before you can even react. I mean you can’t even see the bubbles and bam you’re dead. Ridiculous.

Witherhoards are good because it's an objective game mode. Who would have thought. No one uses DMT. I see a ton of pulses.

I figured a better way to do the king of the hill part is, when the turrets spawn, disable supers like how they do in rift where they're grayed out. That way for the duration of the king of the hill part it's all gunfights.

Bubble is fine what’s ridiculous is getting a team member to nova bomb the bubble an when i run bubble i get nova bomb then the other team just takes the zone an pops bubble but i do like the score system tho i just forget there’s a timer for that zone that gives 4 points.
