Yeah you could do that but it's not the point of the post. Currently AoT is sunset and to purchase it from the Monument of Lost Light you need: 1 Exotic Cipher: Easy just pick up one from Xur and complete the associated objectives at your own pace 150,000 Glimmer: Fairly easy, sell Destination Materials to Rahool or wait for next season and farm Heroic Public Events about 10-12 of those would do 2 Ascendant Shards: More challenging but you have a variety of way to approach this at least. You either need to grind your two favorite Playlist activities and reset both for one Ascendant Shard each, buy the Season Pass and grind your way to the end, complete one or two Grandmaster Nightfalls, or pay Rahool 20 Enhancement Prisms, 200 Planetary Materials, and 100,000 Glimmer for 2 Ascendant Shards. 240 Spoils of Conquest: This is the hard part one whole stack of Spoils, which you only recieve 3 to 5 Spoils per Raid Encounter you complete (depending on the Raid) and secrect raid chest you open. While Spoil farms exist getting people together who are willing to spend hours cheesing the same encounter can be a huge challenge especially for new players. It's not so much a matter of Always On Time needs to be nerfed, but rather we need more Sparrows with unique perks like Always On Time.
