I feel that anything that dies specifically from scorch should result in ignition. The ignition damage and aoe should be based on the number of stacks of scorch at time of death. Ignition can also occur from reaching the requisite number of stacks and that ignition will do max damage.
Killing an enemy that is scorched by stasis damage has a zero% chance to trigger ignition, void is 20%, arc damage has a 40% chance and solar has a 60% chance. Kinetic has a completely random chance at triggering ignition of a scorched target but scorch damage kills are always 100%.

Erm. I understand why it is a prime and trigger system. I think having everyone that is a little scorched having a chance to explode would be a little extra and border line op. I appreciate your response. We just differ in how we feel it should be executed. I just think for as many actions you take, once someone is ignited, they shouldn't still be retaliating at that point. Or you should have just shot them. Lol.
