I've been theorycrafting a build around the double function rift-drop passive and solar kill in rift passive for Promethium Spur and the condition for the double rift is just to get a kill while your personal rift energy is full.
However, I haven't been able to proc it consistently no matter what variables I try. A primary with osmosis and/or solar glaive seem to work a little better than other combinations, but it's extremely inconsistent at best. I have gotten it to proc off every element and most weapon types I have tried it on. I actually just ran King's Fall a couple hours ago and there were several instances where I procc'd it *maybe* once or twice throughout an entire encounter despite the exotic perk's condition being met. Definitely less than 10 times over the course of the entire raid including a few resets.
After a bunch of digging around and troubleshooting, I found a known issue in a TWAB from September of last year about the passive unintentionally requiring a solar weapon kill, and then the double-rift perk procs once and is unable to be procced again when the condition is supposed to be any kill when rift energy is full on a solar warlock. I'd hazard a guess that this may be what I'm running into, or a very similar issue. Unfortunately, Promethium Spur isn't a very popular exotic so I believe this issue is being slept on.
