Let me preface by not saying I am not trying to undervalue anyone’s GM completions. I was more than happy earning my first Conqueror seal.
But this season was by far easier than any other season, despite having a lineup like it does. I could go into each but to get to the important bit… its not bc of 3.0 subclass reworks. It’s because of resilience. T10 Res gives 40% DR. For reference, Stag gives 50% DR. So a T10 Res guardian basically has stag active at all times. I’m not calling for a nerf. Rather Bungie should take this opportunity to introduce harder but more rewarding difficulty options.
Similar to how regular Nightfalls have difficulty options that you can power level to become of light, Grandmasters could have difficulty options that you can’t power level to. Just change the Contest modifier to increase the levels you are below the content. Maybe 25/30/35/40/50 below for 5 tiers of difficulty. Still garuntees 1 drop for a normal GM. Higher chance for more loot (weapons, resources, high stat armor) at higher ends.
Again, GMs can be hard for some people, and an accomplishment is an accomplishment, but I can no mic an lfg and beat any of these, and I am by far not the best which means a lot can.

I don’t think they make changes for cases that are in the minority of occurrence. Not enough players asking for that, a larger percent of the player base find GM level content to be hard enough so it won’t merit many changes. I’d say try to solo them if at this point doing them on teams is not challenging enough.
