What is ruining Destiny 2 right now

I'm going to cover a few reasons I think Destiny 2 is in a really bad place. This post may be long, but I encourage you to read and interact with it, because that is how we make change happen. Firstly, I'll list off what I think is wrong, then I'll get into specifics later. 1) The current crafting system is by far the biggest issue right now. 2) Power grind/upgrade modules 3) CHAMPIONS 4) PvP skill punishment/Cheese reward 5) Time gates First, the elephant in the room: crafting. I would like to start by saying that I'm glad bungie brought crafting into the game. However, I'm very frustrated with how it has been implemented. Crafting was originally supposed to be a form of bad luck protection, and grind reduction that was supplemental to the game. The way they went about it, instead made it an essential part of the game that caused more grind, more bad luck, and devalued almost every weapon that can't be crafted. Making the patterns based on getting a certain type of a certain weapon to drop didn't actually help with RnG as most players have a very hard time getting these "red borders" to drop, and have to grind more than before to even unlock the pattern to craft the weapon they want. Then, there's leveling a weapon to unlock the perks and masterwork that they want on the weapon. Which means (you guessed it) MORE grinding. Then once all that grinding is done, you have this perfectly crafted weapon, which should feel good, but then you have this realization. Your favorite adept weapon that you spent hours grinding for in a GM or trials to get the perfect roll to drop, is now useless. Because why would you take a weapon that gets a small bonus to base stats, and can have adept mods (which have a downside with them), when you can take this other weapon is that has enhanced perks which provides a massive upside with no downside. Next: power grind. To me this is the most frustrating part of the game, not because I think it's too hard, but because it is SOOOO lazy. Rather than giving us fresh new content, Bungie has decided that they would rather have players grind out the same thing every season and it has become a monotonous cycle. Do activities that give you pinnacle gear, use up all your resources to buy upgrade modules, infuse said pinnacle into the piece of gear you want, do this over and over again every three months, just for all your progress to be reset annually. Now we get to champions, and oh my god do I hate champions. Now, I don't hate champions because they're too difficult. I hate them because they are the exact opposite. They don't add any level of difficulty to end-game content, all they do is add length to the activity. They're just absolute bullet sponges with buggy and, quite frankly, BORING mechanics. But bungie seems to live and die by champions. Higher difficulty? More champions with more health. Instead of champions we could have a multitude of different enemy types with different mechanics that you have to adapt to, rather than being locked into a specific loadout seasonally and sitting in the back of the room behind whatever cover you can find and dumping all of your ammo into these pesky little sponges. It is SOOOOO BORING! Almost done now. PvP: man what an absolute cluster****. We all know the sandbox has zero balance. However, lets get into the main reason PvP is in absolute shambles right now. Punishing people for being skilled. This is mostly highlighted by airborne effectiveness. Destiny PvP is meant to be fast paced and very mobile. So why did Bungie make it impossible to land a shot while you're being mobile? Now I'm all for making it more difficult to land shots while you're flying through the air directly towards an enemy, who is also flying through the air directly at you, but the way airborne effectiveness works right now is a gross over correction. That's just one example of skill punishment, another example would be that the supers that require the most skill to use have the highest cooldown timer. There's many more examples to this, but that would just be a list that is way too long. Now onto being rewarded for being cheesy. I'm just gonna list a few things off and you'll see what I mean. Titan bubble has the fastest cooldown of all supers, fusion rifles, Lorentz Driver and Arbalest aim assist, need I continue? I don't think so. LASTLY, time gates. Any game that requires you to wait a week to repeat an activity and get any sort of progress, has a garbage progression system. This, like power level, is just another example of Bungie choosing grind over content and I'm just sick of it. I love Destiny 2 and I want nothing other than to see it thrive, but bungie seems so set in their ways that I don't think that can ever happen. Let me know what you think, do you agree? Disagree? What changes would you like to see for the betterment of the game?

The incessant crying and whining about everything in the game. The constant call to nerf things because players get killed by something. The constant crying about PVP. The annoying complaining about how unfair it is that adept weapons aren’t attainable in control or play list strikes. The constant complaining about everything Bungie does like they should find a way to make every nonsensical suggestion a reality. The crying over the cost of the game. The call for the removal of the shop because it’s unfair that someone can spend money to get better looking gear. The why doesn’t Bungie interact with us posts. The annoying loud minority about one mode being switched to SBMM. The utterly pointless posts about why my class isn’t as good as the others and we were shafted with 3.0 subclasses. My most recent most annoying thing to read is quitters crying about being penalized for quitting marches so they’re quitting the game. It’s not everything but in a whole the community and game are great. It’s well worth the $8 or 9$ a month it costs for access to everything. It’s the toxic and entitled part of the community that ruin it for me. And before anyone posts complaining about complaining as a response. The OP asked. I’m done with my rant lol and I need a Snickers.
