Without special week of freelance trials, you won’t win 7 games in a row(if you’re not streamer) because your blueberries will die immediately after the game started. For last four games of trials I always died last out of my team

A combination of skill creep and low population. There amount of mid to low skilled solo players is INCREDIBLY low in trials. Truthfully, the only solo players really left are literally the bottom of the barrel. Solo play is more or less dead, and going in without a team will cause you to lose nearly all games. To be honest, even freelance wouldn’t be enough to increase the population all that much. Freelance doesn’t attract enough players to get slaughtered in trials. Maybe a couple people join in, but unfortunately, it’s not enough to justify splitting the playlist into two (and eventually 4) separate pools. If trials had a consistent and high population ALL weeks, Bungie would probably make freelance permanent. But… trials simply can’t attract a wide rand of casuals and mid to low tier players, even on freelance weeks. Trials is straight up dying again. The revamp has failed to retain players. It can be argued the revamp was a failure. I think… the 4th consecutive time trials has failed as a playlist. I can imagine Bungie is becoming desperate at this point to try and salvage the playlist, as each season, the population is low, even on week 1. Each season has EVEN LOWER player participation each week, with the final week having lower participation records then the previous season’s last week. What can Bungie do? Look at me as an example. I’ve never been able to convince myself to play trials, due to a lack of confidence and not wanting to worsen my already high depression and anxiety. Bungie argues mental health and inclusion, but trials is NOT inclusive and honestly worsens mental health issues. What can Bungie possibly do to attract a player like me to play trials?
